but on the Betfair Greyhound stats section what does it mean by 'Adjusted Time'?
I thought that the end column (far right) was the time that the dog ran in that particular race and the 'Winning Time' (3 columns to it's left) was the time of the winner?
But looking at todays 11:19, trap 1 has won it's last 2 races yet the 'Winning Time' and the 'Adjusted Time' for those races are completely different when surely they should be the same (or at least within 0.01's of each other)?
I've probably got the wrong end of the stick (so apologies) but if this data isn't entirely accurate, what sources do other people use?
I dont use betfair form at all(use http://www.racingpost.com/greyhounds/card.sd) but at a guess its probably adjusted for the going rob,ie track going -20,winning time actually 30:00,adjusted to 29:80...what you mean?

Have had a look and they give more previous results history so much appreciated.
It looks like the terminology used on the Betfair stats confused me!
Thanks for your help

Yep cant beat the good old RP.Personally i use them all(RP,Thedogs,GData,IGB etc etc). They all have their plus points.RP for cards and form,Thedogs for that days past results and sometimes RP miss a dogs last race,GData for breeding(ie if a dog is going over 6 bends for the first time its handy to check if previous litters its mother has had has stayed or brothers or sisters etc) and IGB for Irish form and trials.
Probably the only one i dont use is BF but the reason i wrote etc etc is because there is the odd occasion if the RP is playing up etc where BF or the Sporting Life can come in handy.
In answer to the original question im not really sure what you dont understand. For example Ballyrhan Buddy in the first race at H Green tells you from left to right.Last ran 13th Feb over 480m from trap 2 and did a sectional(from traps to line first time) of 5.10 and at each split was in 1112 possition and finnished 3rd and was crowded at the start but soon led until the 3rd bend where it was crowded. The race was won in a time of 30.23(winners time) on a track that was rated 50 slow so winners actual or calculated or adjusted time was 29.73,the grade was A8 and Ballyrhan Buddys calculated time was 30.15.It doesnt give how far it was beat but if the winners time was 29.73 and as always it is 8 spots for a length/metre that tells you it was beat 5 and a quarter lengths(29.73-30.15 = 42 spots of a difference.8 goes into 42 5 and a quarter times).
Good chance you know all this but if not then you do now.
