Yes the great bitch was beaten tonight @ 'The Meadows' she finished 3rd beaten nose x 1.25 lengths.I think it shows the strength of Victorian greyhound racing and although her record is 40 wins from 48 starts, here in Melbourne she has had 6 wins from 9 starts. Her run was a huge effort to say the least as she gave the winner 8 lengths down the back and flew home,in contrast to her win in the 'Galaxy' last week on her home track where she lead all the way. Never the less she picked up $11,000 prizemoney for her effort.

Yes Swayne I layed her @ 1.25,but when she drifted out to 1.39 I backed her and in the end, having her win or lose was an OK result. But I would have preferred that she won.But next week she should be back in Melbourne for another big race,it's heats of the Autralian Superstayers where she will need to qualify for the final the following week which carries 1st prizemoney of $100,000.That's Sat.1st March when the Australian Cup is run it's 1st prize is $250,000.
