SOME OF THE PUPPY EVENTS DONT CARRY MUCH WEIGHT ANYMORE
THE GYMCRACK AT KINSLEY FOR ONE who ever in the race sure to be a good one in anycase |
By:
Seems to have been around a long time but howabout Bubbly Phoenix? He's an Apr10 whelp, whereas Eske and Warhawk Sept10. However, Phoenix was running in puppy races last year, (2nd to Newinn Rocket in Monmore Puppy Derby).
By:
Newinn monmore
Jaytee northern WARHAWK wimbo Notts puppy winner not fit Gymcrack who won that again? Eske what puppy event did he win hove? Hope oaks winner more or less got the line up |
By:
Woody, the Monmore Puppy Derby doesnt count for this , too early in the year for qualification purposes
By:
yes, think Newinn Rocket too old.
Didnt Eske win the Nott puppy and then all aged at Hove Fattie, which Jaytee are you referring to? There's seems so many - did'nt Teejays Blue win the Northrn? |
By:
youre right mint, Pluto has not won equiv comps, but other than last couple of runs he was a talking dog winning SKY races, and now he's with Lister too...the RP journalist selectors more into fashion than substance
By:
Tee jays your right
Got me jaytee and teejays In a twist |
By:
Jaytee Hellcat could be a wild-card? He was joint fav with Lemon Pluto in Teejay Bluehawk's Northern Puppy Derby and has a 28.38sec on his card at Wimbledon. Incidentally, he makes his comeback in the 10.26 at Hove tonight

Barrie Draper's star Sheffield duo Farlow Warhawk and Ballymac Eske have recorded an identical 16.02sec in trials over 280m, just a neck slower than Farloe Barracuda clocked when winning last night
By:
Oh, sure you know Barracuda is their kennelmate, as is the flying but injury-prone Eden Star, what a kennel!

there is going to be enough of this sh!te on here when the final six are actually announced
speculation as to the participants is about as much use as guessing who the next pope is going to be ![]() |
By:

Think its down to two, Woody's inconsistency could leave me with egg on my face, but with his bald head he has the equipment on top, BBC2 is an out and out stayer, so he could be running on at the end, but PF is a lively outsider and is likely to make a great race of it, fantastic race in prospect . Good luck all.

By:
Normal going. 28.36 Hellcat, 28.42 Alien, 28.36 Eske, 28.77 Bluehawk, 28.62 Warhawk (off a flying 4.70 split). Also, 28.48 Phoenix

By:
Did anyone on here go to this morning's trials? Should've gone myself really. Not much between them on the clock so I guess it depends on how much improvement we can expect from each. Any thoughts?
By:
Not seen trials but Warhawk will be leading with a 4.70 split and Eske only a whisker behind him in Puppy Derby. Sure little to chose between them round Plough Lane. Hellcat's trial same as Eske but doubt very much he'll repeat that in the race proper. Alien only needs to improve slightly, but could. Personally, dont think the Lenson dog or Bluehawk will figure
