Thanks for valuing my opinion erwhat, it took me a helluva long time to come to those conclusions and it was all down to hard graft and studying, its nice when it pays off

Couple of 2nds. Hard to find winners when 5 others are running against you. Cant win anyway, still ridiculed although mainly against the favs last night.
Had a great time in London, thanks to Rockview Sail. Thanks for asking ![]() |

Why dont you just give it a rest. You couldnt tip **** out of a wheelbarrow and then come back with your aftertiming masterpiece.
Must take some doing to be offed from the Racing Post because theyre all useless as well. |

aftertiming? like this you mean?
ER WHAT HAPPENED THERE 16 Nov 12 00:24 Joined: 10 Nov 08 | Topic/replies: 1,050 | Blogger: ER WHAT HAPPENED THERE's blog Thats got nothing to do with it. If theres a massive arb, you will get more money. On the first one, I had £1500 on and laid the £1500 off for a free bet as the selection wasnt mine but a friends and so £1500 of that was mine. The amount of the market is irrelevant too. If theres an arb on one dog, thats going to get all the arbers busy. Look at Crayford, its like finding it in the street and I wouldnt know a Crayford dog if it sh!t on my grass. I will say woody is an aftertimer, however if he owed me a pint i know i'd get it back,so hes ok by me. |
|
By:
Very good PS.
Only problem is I was explaining how an Arb appeared and how I took advantage of the muppets falling over them self to get in on it. Bit hard to post every bet when they happen about 40 seconds to the off. What does "I will say woody is an aftertimer, however if he owed me a pint i know i'd get it back,so hes ok by me." mean as well? |
|
By:
yeh well, woody told me he couldnt post up cos he was quaffing champagne in the fkin ritz and then retired to his suite to back skuttle miss slovakia.
It means i think woody is essentially a nice guy, always polite,i imagine he has plenty of friends, the type of guy i'd gladly have a pint with. Hes a little deluded(arent we all at times) but he certainly doesnt need someone to try and bully him or tell him what to do imvho. |
|
By:
deluded ?
Someone please explain how , a man (who usually bets small ) can back 6 dogs in one competition at 11/1, 11/1, 33/1, 6/1, 16/1 and 6/4, at roughly 80% and make enough in the 20% to pay for an overnight trip to london with his wife. Sorry Patrick but this guy is lying through his teeth . |
|
By:
I think thats overly harsh irish.
I couldnt give a t0ss how he pays for a little time away, its none of my business, frankly i'm the type of bloke that wishes him a safe journey and a nice time rather than asks "how did you pay for it?" If he claims to have won enough from a bet for a trip,i'd probably make a joke that "i didnt know megabus did packages" and leave it at that, rather than the hounding you give him. |
|
By:
Patrick , I agree Woody is probrably a lovely fellah, a nice bloke etc etc
![]() Unfortunately he thinks there is a demand generated by us forumites to read the throw away one line dog reviews that none of us buy the Racing Post to read. Countless forumites have advised him accordingly but he has decided to ignore the majority, yet still comes on here and heralds the odd victory like he is a judge. What an insult to the decent hardworking judges that do thankfully give us their well thought analysis and opinion on the odd occasion. I visited the Racing Post greyhound desk regularly in Raynes Park in 96/97 and it would be hard to find a more stuck up bunch of hooray henry's , and who was prime amongst them ? Birchy ... and he's no respect whatsoever on this forum. |

Just having a brew and checking e-mails. Dont bother with Irish anymore, he's blocked. Yes Patrick, those £1 Megabus deals to London are great! Newquay also on the agenda
. Not so great, £14.60 (2 people) for zone one underground travel.Erwhat is right, struggling to find winners overall but that's not the case with my NAPS (Rockview Sail and Loughteen Blanco two of the very few recent ones to win). Mainly find myself doing little bets for betting-sake (just an interest), when dont really fancy anything at all. My writing about dogs is just a labour of love. Probably my imagination but greyhounds these days generally seem to lack consistency and find it hard to string two wins together. |

He's a lovely man isn't he, old woody ? "my naps ... Loughteen Blanco ..."
![]() ![]() ![]() Here is what he actually posted at the time ..... woodmanchester When:17 Jan 13 06:29 9.56. Class-act Loughteen Blanco likely to be too short, unless you can get some evens on the exchanges If having a bet at all, will just be mainly minimum stakes for an interest, unless someone wants to lay me 2/1 Blanco When:17 Jan 13 10:45 5/6 Loughteen Blanco very close to the asking price BLANCO WON at 4/7 ![]() ho ho ho ... aftertiming NAPS now ! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I quite enjoy reading your previews, particularly of the opens on the Northern tracks. I can't say I take any notice of your tips but hey, no fcuker else puts any up so fair play to you. In other news.............. Anyone going to Clonmel this weekend? |

By:

personally wish they would have left it Mon, Tue and Wed I actually don't mind a weekend, even though it means missing the footy but Fri-Sun would have made much more sense that Sat-Mon. Still there are those that say I don't know what day it is anyway. ![]() |

Miss Wales is quite diplomatic. Think he's saying the tips are usually not much good but some interesting snippets to pointers are often mentioned
