Interesting little Maiden Stayers Trophy with three decent heats, final shown live RPGTV Friday.
Phoned Coral, trying to get an antepost price Slick Saleen, but nothing doing. He ran well in a good class competition at Nottingham recently and already tried over 660m Sheffield, should find this 575m fine.
Fifis Legend returns to action but has the class to qualify from the second heat, if fit enough.
Jazz Tilly has also been off the card but a game competititor, could be in the decider Friday.
Thanks for your advice Done, but reckon Slick Saleen could be too short in the final for me, with question marks currently hanging over others.
Plan to back him tonight and if successful, roll the winnings onto him Friday
Good luck!

As it says on another thread, Romford light in the track betting ring with poor percentages of about 140, 143 and 137 over-round on the 3 heats. Felt sure Slick Saleen would win beforehand but 4/7 a farce. Joscar first to show but Saleen clear with a circuit to go. Gritty and held on by half length. Can improve, lead again in final and prove the roll-over ploy correct.

Sidelight ground out the win but may not reel in Saleen in time in the final. Fifis Legend needed the run. Needed to lead, too, but would still have struggled to get home, imo.
Of the principals on Friday, heat 3 winner Caesars Rocket could be the weakest link. Although odds-on, he barely qualified and looked very much ill at ease round the tight circuit, not surprising after Hove really! Jazz Tilly was a shade unlucky not to get through
