Im aware of that now. At the time T3 and T4 showed as vacant. I have screenshot to prove this and have emailed this to BF.

How can you have a fair bet when the winner is not available for selection?

Of the four dogs on which a bet could be placed mine finished first, but was beaten by an unselectable option. I know the game is bent but this is taking the p***

If BF show a non-runner in a horse race do you go checking various web sites to confirm that it is a non-runner? No, you assume that BF know what they are doing!

I didn't realise it, but I have just found that the page for this event was still open in another tab.

I now have a screenshot showing the event as closed (after the off) with T3 and T4 STILL showing as vacant ans no betting available.

The reserves were added to the market approx 2.31,  I backed the 3 dog so I know betting was deformed available. For about 2/3 minutes before the reserves were added the market did show only 4 runners.

Betting was deffo available that should say......ipad mistake

After result was in I looked at old site, and they were there, but not on the new site which I use.

I had a similar problem years ago on betfair, a golf 2 ball showed only the two players- so I assumed it was draw no bet. Low and behold it ended a tie and no money returned.

I had many phone and email arguments over it, but they insisted the tie was always there. Stupidly i hadnt taken a screen shot but I was right and they must have been able to check.

IBAS of course, sided with Betfair

I have today received a refund from Betfair. I cannot fault them on the way they handled the issue.

There are plenty of people who knock Betfair, but I believe in giving credit when it is due.
