I haven't seen the streaming yet but understand that the quality is very good indeed.  How do you bet on Coventry off course?  Is it only through the tote portal on 24 dogs?  Why doesn't BF cover the meetings and why is there no formcard in the RP?  Finally, how many books stand there.

Thanks for any info.

Hills take bets online although if you only want £10-£20 on the tote is likely to be just as good because the take out is low on the win (13%) and place (10%) pools.

If you go to the covdogs website there is  pdf racecard you can print off.  The RP have the card online on the day of the race, the pdf is there when the card is finalised.

Four books stand.  Three straight and one without the fav.

kingsbury you clearly havent a clue what youre talking about, stick to nailing granny brasses and telling her about when you was a big hitter, leave the sport to those that know what they're doing and talking about.

Hunter, cov ring is doing just fine without betfair, infact its one of the most refreshing rings to be in thanks to the parasites not sucking it dry.

coventry is providing free advanced cards, free videos, free live streaming and now the ability to have a bet....it is utopia........all of the people on here currently card reading now have a chance to watch the historical races and generate a real opinion for free......exs for that privilage would be a carpet a month plus for most tracks........the least we can then all do is play into the tote and give something back to those trying hard to make it work......

agree with patrick........feck betfair unless they pay coventry for the event......why not stop moaning and get involved....

sorry ken, that was needlessly harsh reading it back and uncalled for, sincere apologies.

Just to say you are wrong in this respect to coventry win pools, they are quite strong and able to take up to about £50 bets on a saturday night at least,i know thats no good to a big hitter like you Wink but its better than most tracks at least.

absolutely winja, the ability to bet into the tote win pools at least with the 13% take out means people can have their 10s n 20s no bother at all and wouldnt be shafted very often at all ending up with 6/4 about a 3s poke.

I did try and keep up with the win pool sp's here tuesday afternoon and of the top of my head some were very favourable, with one in particular paying 17/2 about a 7/2 poke i think!

really looking forward to tuesdays cov meet,am going up with my mate to watch his pups make their debut, helped him out one week at the schooling track with them and have been to visit them a couple of times since they were babies, they're all called cimla ....he has bred them from his two pets who he used to flap and he lost the father(who gave us some great nights out upsetting big name dogs all over the place) a couple of months back, the bitch is still with him though and is just a lovely bitch, loves a fuss.

I'm quite nervous already after only a little involvement with them so i cant imagine how he'll be feeling!

It's certainly an exciting and nerve-wracking time Patrick.

We've bred a few litters and there's nothing quite like their first race. Main thing is that they come off safe and sound. Good luck - I'll tune in specially to have a look.

There was over £1000 in the win pool every race on Saturday night as there was quite a good crowd there.  Doubt it will be as good tomorrow, and, yes, it does need Betfair to put up the markets.

Cimla Visa is in race 1 and Cimla Quinta in race 3.

Hard card tomorrow as there a load of trails dogs running.

Having been going to Oxford and unable to go anymore I cant believe some of the dogs are in some grades

Oxford dogs were pretty low class, though.  Never did much in the BAGS inter-track and most would have been bought to run the sharp Oxford track rather than the gallop at Coventry.

Pickles Found It looks to have good chance though. A2 at Oxford and 2nd at PB in the inter-track - only in A7 tonight .  Be interesting to see how the ex-Oxford dogs go.

Im all honest that was the dog I was on about, as Pickles didn't have much early for a "sharp" track
but had a good win ratio and although Oxford dogs "were pretty low class" he has a good A2 dog and should win a A7 unless the grade at Coventry is sky high as it is a track that has been going a while with big named trainers. The BAGS inter-track was pointless to Oxford as there was only one trainer that had any class dogs. Im surprised that he is in such a low grade but trail times say he should in in there although Jolly Nelson who he dead heated with in a trail is in A6.

Basically Id be shocked if he didn't win a A7, well Id be surprised if he was in a A5 so should win but should be short
