We all learn something new as we try and surf the punters wave through the year and not get our head caved in by a piece of rock.
Lessons of 2012
I have finally learnt how to bet a winner at romford this year after years of misery and head scratching there,still hardly a fav track but am much improved there.
Hopes for 2013
Hope by the end of 2013,to have improved my staking,i'd like to be in a position to have doubled my average stake this time next year but this brings with it many more problems that im sure you all know about,its gonna be a challenge,but as always its gonna be tremendous fun!
also i'd like to lose 3 stone in weight(and yes you cheeky fcukers the staking bit is more likely i know)
a very happy xmas and a prosperous new year to the best forumites on betfair bar none!

To bet e/w ante post, i never used to do but got peeved with having big priced dogs making finals and finishing placed so i started doing it during this year and it has already paid off. Hopes for 2013 To stop wasting money betting on soccer matches. Easier said then done as surprisingly soccer is rather boring without money on it. |

Ignore the horses (shocking ROI) and concentrate solely on the greyhounds. Cut out the 'just for interest' bets - made the difference between making a profit compared to the actual small loss on the year. Hopes I hope to have the willpower to stick to the above!!  |

Bet as late as poss where poss as got burnt a few times due to track bias 2013. Only bet for value, bigger the price, have more on. |

not to try and educate woody on value any more. leave punting romford opens alone. far too many hard luck stories. leave punting other sports alone, have no edge there and realistically just punt some of the hard earned away. similar to PF there really. Hopes of 2012 a sky tv deal is sorted out. these meetings have proved extremely profitable for me, even better that the liquidty is at its strongest. GRA get out of the game and their tracks, especially wimbledon, are saved. sky meetings at wimbledon are even better for me than normal sky meetings. molly the "forum dog" can win a competition and i suppose very back end of the year when retired produce a healthy litter of strapping pups. not to try and educate woody , its a waste of time didnt realise how many kennels were at it on the laying side Hopes of 2012 get over for the three nights of derby first round action get a higher percentage of gambling kennels getting it right suss something at p barr and b vue that works long term  |

stop betting overs on football matches,(p/f spot on there mate) take more notice of some of the judges on here(sky nights) Hopes of 2013. to keep up/inprove strike rate on n.f.l. the good judges stay on here, molly the "forum dog" keeps winning for Addy (nice to have somthing to root for)without betting, woody gets a comp winner anti post(just to pis- irish off |
