STAR CASH SIMON - When he won his second race at Tralee unraced in March he was put for sale on gdata at €20k, was on there for ages no takers next few races ran poorly, and price went down to €12k, and was still up for sale for ages. Guess he went for much less than that, has been not much better than a grader since really, but great run tonight (though not fast relatively = trainer said in paper Hove 515m is as far as he wants to go) and had a nice return on investment - prize money and punting.

all in all very dissapointing, both on track and in the bin.

Stupidly fast track leading to silly results that I would expect to be reversed in the coming months.

For me, Ava was appalling. They knoew she wasnt going to win , couldnt shift her out quick enough, she smashed out and went backwards after 50 yards, going further backwards. As for Maldini, ran a blinder on going that would not have suited. Errol slightly blind in not seeing him check up behind SJ to get 2nd but hey ho.
