7/4 Holdem Spy. Won 11 of his 12 races over course and distance, including beating Bridge Honcho. Backed him for the Eclipse but he failed to sparkle after getting behind, a trait which happens now and then, so gone for a much bigger priced dog antepost. (see below).

8/1 Fridays Shea. Has tremendous gears when things click into place and worthy of respect.

10/1 Fifis Legend. Doesnt win as many as he should for a dog of his ability, imo, currently 0 from 10.

14/1 Fire Height Spec. Now then, by my standards, had a fairly big go each-way. He hails from the star-studdied Barrie Draper kennels and has quality form round Sheffield and Belle Vue. He has already won a couple over course and distance and worked a minor miracle to qualify from his heat. All things being equal, if not winning, he should take silver behind Holdem Spy and qualify for next Sunday's final tonight. If reaching the final, he should have every chance to lead and could prevail to get the big win money, at least. That's my hopes anyway

Good luck if youre playing. Oh, prices courtesy of Bet365

Hard lines with Fire Height Woody; I don't think anyone would have predicted both he and Holdem Spy crashing out!

Shame about Fire Height Spec but a couple of the Speculating Syndicate are also involved in Bower West and he will represent the Draper kennel in the final.

The dog reached the final of the Manchester Puppy Cup last year but had to be withdrawn with what turned out to be a long-term injury. We gave him plenty of recuperation time under the skilled and watchful guidance of Claire Gilchrist, and since he moved to Barry he is gradually finding his feet, winning a decent open at Sheffield and then just getting picked up by Boher Paddy in another.

There is little between the finalists on time and we're hopeful he won't be far away on Sunday.

I'm slightly disappointed with the final now Wales and doubtful i'll be going. The elimination of all the high profile dogs has played into your hands though and good luck, hope you win

woodmanchester as finals go the elimination of dogs like holdem spy fire height spec and fridays shea and fifis legend might not be the specticul everyone was hoping for but what a race in prospect as miss wales says there is nothing between the 6 dogs and with the bookies betting under 20% every race the track needs supporting by everyone
so get yourselves down there will be a gr8 night and good luck to all 6 connections

Thanks Worcester. Would go a long way to see top class dogs run but with respect to some worthy finalists, nowhere near the final i wanted to see. If supporting races good, still could go though. Just its over a 200 mile round trip for me, thanks again.

Dont know if you think it a good thing Worcester but heard Betfair could be covering Coventry on live streaming. I'm afraid most likely wouldnt be travelling all that way if this rumour comes to fruition, sorry. Blue Square used to stream before Coventry closed that time

from what i have heard betfair might be covering certain nights as most people know the management want to race 3 to 4 days a week with pics being beamed into betting offices via RUK think the 1st time this will happen will be early january with the introduction of the tuesday meeting starting at 5.30 would think its inevitable that betfair will introduce a market on this night but for the open night sundays when they reamerge in march dont think betfair will be involved
