Honestly how many times can one trainer get the same dog out?!! Did it ever cross your mind that he'd just won the TV Trophy and Leger and might be due a miss?!! Some kennel sickness - bet a few kennels wouldn't mind taking home ten large in a day! Guess Mr Woods was on hand to give over the trophy directly to Lil Riskys owners -?!! Bit surprised that he let the dog in the competition tho....

not withstanding the angle that a dog that needs to lead was odds on in a high quality race and could have been considered too short? i thought he should have been favourite but that the betting should have been a lot closer between him and buddy, maybe people laying up to 6/4 also felt he shouldnt have been odds on.......just a hunch like.
