went to track last night and the main stand are a disgrace...they should replace them with 16 year olds straight out of school or 14 years olds doing evening and weekend jobs. people were moaning about %'S on terrace, and they were huge for first show..majority of shortish prices from say evens to 7/4 could be had 1 point to 1.5 bigger on Betfair, yes sometimes liquidity was poor but perhaps 50% of time it showed up around £60 - £120 generally available. Maldini opened up Evs before going out to 5/2 the SP and he was not alone..it seemed they wanted to mark up very short in the hope some mugs would get on and likely then they could match at bigger price on BF..when I was there one summer night was disgusted to see one guy on terraces with Ipad, amongst the crowd and in full view of everyone taking all the shouts from the bookmakers after they had laid a bet..and some of these were as low as £30!! embarrassment to bookmaking. The only 'good'thing is they pay out with a smile..likely cos they've matched your bet a point or more higher some of these guys have been there well over 20 years and to match £30 like Simmonds and others is disgrace. Should get rid of them all and have a BF person stand. Rant over

Agree 100% Swayne, there were bets laid on here last night 4/5 mins before the off for two or three hundred ton, I had the feeling this was bookies at it .

3 out of the 4 bookmakers dont use betfair and do there own prices,certain people were aving 1 or 2 grand on fridays no problem,i dont go romford on fridays its opens,the bookmakers take a bet on monday and wedesnday when theres one man and there dog there,the bookmakers are very fair at romford

the bookies are moaning about the quality of racing on Fridays and that they are loosing on that night. Ridiculous.
