Convinced Eden Star best and fastest in competition. Hoping cobwebs blown away at Vue. Saver Lemon Pluto. Gained many admirers although Teejays Bluehawk and Islas Scolari havent exactly advertised the form.
Stayers
Left Blonde Reagan out of Leger. Wont be making the same mistake again. Saver, Ballyard Buddy may be a shade quirky but pacey when things click.

Loughteen Blanco. Very fast dog and trip should be okay. Saver, Ballymac Denis. Super old favourite, worthy of respect.

At each-way, looks a great bet for money back a place, so could boil down to a free bet at a big price Keep a look out for 9/4 Venus in the bitches heats also |

Had a little go the Bansha, Mutual, Eden, Reagan, Blanco acca at accumulative odds of about 10/1. I know 1 or 2 sometimes let you down, but good dogs at the short prices most likely to cop in first round of competitions, not so competitive then, in my experience

Newinn Rocket looks too big @ 9/2 to me, nice draw and should lead on the fence. Not sure what can back run him here, Aero Tobais would be the obvious one but where he is drawn i think he will struggle for a run early and like the last time they met Rocket can get away.
Will do some 1/5 5/1 forecasts too. |

Farloe Elektra @ 4/1 also looks a big price, she should have the leading off Coolavanny Fairy in 1 and Mays Stopgoback in 2 and Aero Rebel should not have the early to trouble her and would need to smash to get in her way. Nyla Fantasy looks likely to be the biggest danger to her but she has a tough enough draw in 6 and i think Elektra can lead around and build up a big lead. Think she is worth a few quid anyway.

Loughteen Blanco @ 5/2 OR for the 416m looks a fair enough price to me. I know there is only a short run to the bend but he is usually a dependable trapper and will be the only (m) in the final i'd say so should have be either in 3,4,or 5 which is pretty much ideal for him.

I'd play Eden Star on here today if he drifts [doubt he will go big enough though], i'd play him at 2.5, this is a step up in class for Lemon Pluto and it's the hardest race he has been in. Eden Star could do with trapping a bit better but where he is drawn once he doesn't make a mess of it he will easily outpace those either side of him to the corner and i'd also expect him to beat Lemon Pluto to the corner.

Love this dog. To be honest, very few dogs i would trust with a lot of money (by my standards) but Eden Star is one of them.
Think he can leave his Belle Vue form behind, that's the plan anyway. Still think 5/1 Pluto each-way the bet in this race though. He cant be that price, can he? Sounds Irish but if Pluto wins, would probably still take Eden to win the final! |
