Surely we have more greyhounds, trainers, etc to get through before Birchy gets to Ballmac Eske

Exactly what I thought Apologist. He mentions Eske smashing Nottinghams Track Record when actually he only equaled Shelbourne Rene's time.

With a few of the top dogs injuried and not showing good runs. surely the 16/1 for Ballymac Eske for next years English Derby looks good value to me at the moment.

Hasn't got the early for Wimbledon.....where's it going to be at the turn ? Obviously fast but track doesn't suit and going to be a problem turning first bend outside the first three every heat . Ran three times at the Don and beat all three . It isn't Hove , Monmore or Nottingham with nice curving bends and plenty of room.....just my opinion

agree eyeball.

Two great things about Birch article today 1) It's not all about him, his family..and his fantasy bets he reckons he's had down the years 2) It's the last one I understand (after once per week for 52 weeks).  You shouldnt judge a dog until his/her career is over imo. Eske is an aeroplane but has won little so far..mostly against pups. They should send Birch to cover tiddly winks competitions..in Pacific.

not for me.......fed up with the trainer cheating with 1&2 and 3 is more limited than the form suggests......had 9.08 the bottom and saw nothing wrong with the going......well nothing wrong for me anyhow......

Dont know about you, but i'd be worried about Ballymac Eske extending his 7 race winning streak at Nottingham Monday.

Down the card,

1 Be Real. Could never get to grips with Loughteen Blanco in the Henlow Derby but game and strong.
2 Ballymac Eske. Fancied to clear Be Real but wont be easy and looks to have a race on his hands for once.
3 Tynwald Bolt. Bit hit and miss but some good form in Ireland. Back over here and has a 28.38 on his card from last year's Wimbldon Derby. Would cause problems with a break.
4 Holdem Spy. Been monitoring this one. Behind Eske here in July but done very well at Coventry and could be surprise packet.
5 Bridge Honcho. Makes most go when trapping and bidding the break free.
6 Hather George. Good yardstick trained by "The Master".

Personally, rooting for Eske as a big winner at 33/1 and 50/1 for next year's Derby for me. Should keep qualifying and hoping for a run in the final there.

However, wouldnt like to be taking long odds on for this race, which would be good enough to grace most significant finals, imo. Run when BAGS go off air, joke!

I think he auto run the Irish leave wimbo for WARHAWK or if ever coming back EDEN
if so draper auto state he's not running so poor punters don't lose any money IMO

ive got no doubts if eske ever runs shelbourne he would shake the clock over 525 550 575 or 600 the track is absoltly made for him

I would say so too Panda; however, if Eske reaches Eclipse final only a couple of days recovery time before the Night of Stars. Still not sure how it works anyway. Think you need to have qualified for races on the night of December 1st at Shelbourne Park, unless some English runners will get invitations?

remember 525y record at SPK Panther was running against inexperienced pups, and there was only three in opposition.unlikely Eske or any English dog will get such an opportunity

Risky but Bridge Honcho could cause an upset, 8/1 tissue. True needs one of his capable fliers and if Eske misses it, trouble and could hold on.

Interesting Jordans Chris. Main rivals Mays Stewart and Rockview Sail need further but the latter was once a world-beater round Romford and worth keeping an eye on in coming weeks
