Not sure if youre right about Marilyn Fatty, she found all kinds of trouble. Ballyard Buddy was earmarked to run Irish Derby final night but not entered and not seen since. His form had been excellent though and think the bookies right with this pair spearheading the market.

Already done some dough. Had reasonable play Ballymac Pet and Westmead Maldini taken out of Hills betting

I'm left with little stabs at Blonde Fletch, Droopys Aretha, Luminous Park and Ballintine Molly, bets i would swop now for 14/1 Robles, 28/1 Arthur, 40/1 Swabys and 66/1 Granard

Arthur cant run in it (dont think). It was red carded at Monmore (some say controversially I didnt see) and i THINK there are GRA rules banning DQ'd dogs in the comp - very happy to be put right?

I've had shrapnel Molly 66s, shrapnel Tynwald Tom and a fair bet Swaby's Princess 50s.

You could well be right Addy but im not sure if that just relates to the Derby. Anybody got a definitive answer please?

42.01robles 16.40 that ain't bad!
41.70- 41.80 your think be needed to win it?
By:
stevedavis
When: 03 Oct 12 16:14
I would imagine 41.80 would almost certainly win it this year. Can't see hardly any dogs in the current line up getting near that! 42.01 a very decent first look I would say. Its half brother Bradley did 41.90 off a 16.23 split first trial round there over 6 bends...

Cant see Welton Arthur. Ballymac Cryan musnt be ready and Westmead Maldini/Droopys Aretha not entered.

Got 14/1 Droopys Robles and 20/1 Blonde Fletch. Looking to add Ballyard Buddy but would need about 6/1 when all priced up
By:
FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK
When: 29 Oct 12 19:35
Ballyyard with looking at entries auto shorten into 7/2

Lacks a look only worry IMO

got Monroe at a huge price on my side but don't hold much hope!

ballybrook could not win a open while at sittingbourne seems a better dog  likes the  traps (wimbo sitters have the same traps)

Come to think of it, didnt see Ballymac Wander either and there are probably others. Express Trend got her draw and could be interesting

Arthur was not entered, owner said he'd had sore pad, but now OK, but needed a rest and not to travel to 'Don and back..

To me mark my words is the one to beat
By:

When: 30 Oct 12 22:25
Flappy but think Words will find the trip plenty far enough. You'll be hoping he goes clear and hold on. Granard Bound was staying on better than him over shorter recently, dont bode well. At least Words at the top of his game.

My Blonde Fletch stamina limitations but backed him months ago. I know Majjestic won last year but think it'll take a strong stayer to win this, like Ballyard Buddy! Wink
By:

When: 30 Oct 12 22:29
last few years ive backed stronger types and this year no different with swabys princess at a price, but last few yeras, bubbly totti, kinda easy, droopys bradley, majestic, all serious 4 bend dogs that perhaps dont get the whole trip. its the only reason why i wont totally rule out mark my words, although even still i think this will be too far for him.

When: 30 Oct 12 22:29
cant have blonde fletch on my mind over the trip

agree about ballyard buddy, could have forgiven defeat at monners but dog absolutely having none of it, will see if any of the firms want to grow a pair and put up 5/1
By:

Was 6/1 with Spoilsports just prior to Buddy's hard-fought win on Sky recently. Seems that was the time to plunge

Fletch did 23.80 odd again at Romford today
no dog in leger could do that!
but I can't find a reason as for the below he's not seeing out a tough 6 bends those days
By:

ding hero was on my radar at a price but not to sure he stay!
mark my words will it stay ? **** draw in 5 ?
Robes unlike Bradley ain't got the same ep can't back anythink with esed 1 st bend comments no matter what it did after
Got the form more pouring over me thinks!

Just dont find him a very exciting dog fatty,he aint got great early, could hardly say he has breathtaking middle and he dont come up the run in like a lunatic,he just goes the one speed doesnt he?
By:
FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK
When: 30 Oct 12 23:37
he's a big bute of a dog that beats others
he's one pace is faster than anythink about
but unless I find somethink that can beat him
I"ll back him , I did him in a nice double with youngie for trainers but that ended at monmore !

Fan of mark my words, but in 5 and coolavaney fairy is in 4 can pop out and lead.  Ballyard Buddy a good bet for me
By:

When: 31 Oct 12 00:16
I'd agree with your first two points fatty, hes got the winning habit and his one pace is obviously a quick one,dog doesnt do a thing for me personally thats all.
By:

When: 31 Oct 12 00:21
ive done 6 of the 8 races on the card tonight, one or two things look like they could be a nice bet, but REMEMBER THERE WILL BE ALL SORTS OF FIREWORK DISPLAYS THROUGHOUT THE CARD.

for that reason, i will be betting to half stakes and it will make the second round tricky as i won't be able to take the form truly at face value either.

Buddy cost me dearly in the past like Prestige etc. He used to be clumsy behind but seems to have improved trackcraft since and getting all the right results nowadays. His clock over the extended 6-bends at Sheffield particularly impressive and looks the type to keep doing just enough, imo

Fireworks an issue Addy. I seem to remember January Tiger not being entered for that very reason, I think.
I haven't gone for a winner yet, but fancy a few locals to cause some upsets in the heats.
By:
woodmanchester
When: 31 Oct 12 01:09
Hopefully the fireworks wont be too close to the track and the bangs not too loud to upset the dogs. I've been racing Guy Fawkes period before and wasnt too much of a problem. Suppose it depends on surrounding housing estates or park/pub displays etc
