Ballymac Eske 28.25 farloe warhawk 28.65 trialed at the don today.
eske 11/10 warhawk 4/1 with hills, 1st and 2nd favs.  6 length is a big difference for warhawk to make up.

Wdon Pup Derby trials: Farloe Warhawk 2865 (486 sectional) then bowser went round, Lenson Champ 2894 (487), Ballymac Eske 2829 (497)

I reckon Eske is laying material due to lack of trapping, at odds on

Taking time to warm up will always be a concern for Eske, imo. Nothing can beat him in full cry, imo. No way playing at 11/10, would be just content if he consolidates my 33/1 and 50/1 vouchers for next year's Derby. Regarding this competition though, wouldnt be surprised if little to choose between Eske and Warhawk come the final. The latter could be clear and Eske may need to secure a passage.

Had a quick look at the betting and a couple of each-way opportunities could be 16/1 Jaytee Youngy and 25/1 Droopys English.

Given the event due consideration and after Eden Star's victory last year, no awards handed out for saying Draper has a stranglehold again with Eske and Warhawk.

With next year's Derby in mind, looking for great things from Eske but at 9/2, played Warhawk at the prices. On the clock, Warhawk about a length quicker than always-leading Mill Maximus and less than a length behind Barefoot Allstar on Scottish Derby night, quite remarkable in only his 4th race! His only defeat came Derby final night where he was in trouble behind Alien Planet but won his other 6 races by a total of over 30 lengths! Okay, sounds very promising and would be very confident of a place in the final but 12/1 Whittle Murtagh, fast type (saver) is on the rails just inside Warhawk in the first round and it's fingers crossed no trouble

woody did u see what the draper dogs did at wimbo this week?
Report woodmanchester • July 27, 2012 10:37 AM BST
Didnt see them, but know trial results. Already said wouldnt be that much between them in the final with Warhawk setting sail for home early and Eske needing to secure a passage to reel him in. Dont think Barry would go evens Eske and 9/2 Warhawk if he was a bookie

If the inner ring road's a problem, wouldnt be the first time i'd go anti-clockwise on the M25 and go through Kingston-on-Thames to Wimbledon

well played, EP name of the game at the'Don
Report woodmanchester • August 8, 2012 4:13 PM BST
Agree Swayne but Eske still unlucky to have his hind legs knocked from benneath him off the second bend. Still think he's a good Derby dog, who can keep qualifying. Eske already wins as much as Taylors Sky would have won this year for me
