noflapleft when is 730 a marathon the marathon is at 10.02
By:
There seems to be a bone of contention here. I think, although thats always dangerous with me, there could be a marathon at 10.02pm, but the race most people are interested in is the 9.10pm with Tynwald Tom, Capoley Ash, Aero Gaga etc but that's 730m, not really a marathon. Wouldnt surprise me if i'm totally wrong though!

365 betting out and no surprises compared to tissue, VC didnt seem to have a go early this time.
So, no value as you would expect to 120% books, so wait for prices across the board, although as i've said, not really in the betting market currently, unless something seems a stand-out. Had the bitches more a less a 2-dog race and many will go for Bansha Mo but ignore Mutual Decision at your peril. Pinky running well too and Shefelia do okay with a brisk start, good race. Not sure about Tynwald Tom. Trip short enough for some of the others though. Content to cheer Capoley on with a view to ante-post TV Trophy bet. Boher Paddy a favourite but no price like next year's long range ante-post Derby fancy Ballymac Eske. Still hard to think Jordans Chris is a 28.26s dog round the Derby course. Obviously smart when primed but off the boil, it seems. Like Swabys Princess and stays but 6/4 too skinny. Wolverine has ability but faces a harder task than recent races at Coventry to my way of thinking. Only bet may have is in sprint. Wide open when i looked so 7/1, or better, Boyneside Banty might be okay. Already backed Taylors Sky for the big one. Hope he atones for Derby disappointment. Good luck everybody! |

No play for me fancy mo and swayb s too short gl any players
By:
mdm,a greyhound is bred to be fast, watching sprinters is about as pure a greyhound race as there is.
Can understand why people like the plodders though, you dont have to read the race. |
By:
like sliverview pinky if she comes away 7s big
just think maybe 1 and 2 fighting for the same room! |
By:
if you can get 7s get me some ,
5/2 hills is best and thats to big |
By:
Pinky in good form at Coventry Fatty, wouldnt put you off.
Patrick, dont think i've seen a Produce thread. Looked at last round results. Adonis the class but with the likes of Romeo You Decide still in, think room on the inside could be tight, so liked the look of wide Brizzle Blue, not seen draw for next round yet though |
By:
sorry my mistake thought you ment perky
![]() |
By:
No antepost woody so very little interest for me tbh.
The brizzle blue time i'd take with a pinch of salt tbh, theres been plenty of stupid times given out of late at the place, thats one of them imo. |
By:
Patrick, Fatty means Pinky against Bansha, not Perky against Sky, i think. Both Lister's
By:
Ok Patrick, thanks, didnt know but Romeo Recruit still 6 lengths behind, so might have been a decent run
By:
Tom looks a cracking bet, running out of its skin
By:
silverview perky at 5/2 hill
By:
9.10 tynwald tom
took vc"s 11/8 ![]() |
By:
Can't believe what I was reading earlier in this thread about the eight bend race deserving a slot on Sky-why do we want to watch low class plodders who can hardly win a race between them because there so paceless when we can watch very fast and genuine hounds like those contesting the sprint?
By:
give me plodders in a marathon any day of the week over sprints
By:
Its far easier to back a marathon winner than to back a sprint winner
noplatleft the fecking marathon is still at 10-02 so you best give up![]() |
By:
Paradise cruz 7/2
Sliverview pinky 7/1 think banty in the sprint at 12s huge by the time I get anywhere near badblokes shop it be gone like the wind! |
By:
Sawpit Sensation @ 8s only bet
By:
Sorry Mad Dog and Wako but i find marathon runners beat each other just for fun and sprint form is more reliable and more exciting, imo. Just a personal view but would rather have Lollie and Drumcove going for me over Capel and Gaga, for instance. Not long ago it was anybodys guess what the likes of Powerfast Pigeon would do. Remember Midway Skipper winning then getting beat by the same dog on more than one occasion, they are inconsistent to my reckoning
By:
gaga and capel seem to beat each other all the time, and when ayamzagirl was running she could beat and be beaten by anything, very hard to call, think sprinting is easier to call.
By:
Trying to lay 600 at 2.5 Tynwald Tom if anyone wants it,its there.Gl tonight.
