there is always trouble in greyhound racing it is part of the game, that is why we bet on it Farloe Ironmans Hove form looks good to me and I have a high opinion of Coolavanny Bert personally just my imo |

JFK probably the most overrated dog around, if he dont smash he dont win got no early cuts in at the bends a recipe for disaster, judical ruling paralised him to the bend last night, only dog capable of leading him is coolavanny bert a very fast dog, and gets my vote.

With what ironman done time wise if JFK Got round that bend the clock would rang for a second time this derby IMO Paralised Overrated some nuts on here say Unlucky I'd say been being run off like that ! Ruling never did that in early rounds did he ! |

For what its worth i think it a good final. Apart from Eden Star injury, virtually all the big guns reached the semis, where obviously something had to give. Yes, we lost many top dogs like JFK, Phoenix, Rioga and Jet, Bugatti, Loner (how unlucky was she not to hold on for a place in the final?), but lets see what we have left:
Defending champion Taylors Sky, virtually as good as you get. Farloe Ironman and Judicial Ruling, both more than capable of clocking the necessary time to be an impressive hero. Coolavanney Bert very smart and flying prospect. Blonde Snapper, fast and furious. Okay, maybe there could have been a better finalist than Westmead Adonis but take nothing away from the dog, there on merit. True, there could be some trouble but you can say that about any race, where crowding is part and parcel of racing. Lets hope for a relatively clean race and may the best dog win! |
