How can Rioga and Bugatti meet each other in the quarters when they are guarded>???????????????
|

By:
The Dazzling Syndicate flogged Rioga to Micheal O Muircheartaigh.
Gives him something to keep his mind off Tipp v The Kingdom - or Roscommon v. Galway - next week. |

Unless the stadium falls down some time in the next 3 days - not entirely impossible - they're run on Tuesday night.

I noticed that someone managed to get the Tannoy Room a functioning microphone halfway through the card last night.
Good work. They only had a week to fix it. Probably someone from Sky generously donating a spare. After all, Uncle Rupert must have a few redundant microphones lying about - now that he's no longer bugging people's telephone calls. The place is still a kip, though. Good gate in. They printed 2,000 racecards and they were out of them by 8:00. The crowd was mainly kids. Queues for beer and burgers horrendous. Not even worth trying. Scarcely worth trying to duck back under the stand to see a replay of the race on the screens. I wonder how many of the attendees will be there next week when the Champions' League Final is on. Another dig... I must have seen four instances of stewards going up to people in the back of the stands - largely wooden stands - and asking them to put out their cancer sticks. Not a "No Smoking" notice to be seen. Can the track not even afford them? I suppose most of the kids wouldn't have heard of the Bradford fire - anniversary week or not. "Come, friendly bombs, and fall on Plough. It isn't fit for canines now." |

Thanks Jane, i thought she would have thrown them under the syndicate name to keep them apart

Heat 3 looks better than most finals! Cant wait for Tuesday, just pricing up each heat before prices are released. Heat 1 very tricky to price up, T Sky clear fav on form prior to the Derby, but now? Cant see him leading Roiga on current form from the traps.
And who do you make fav from Heat 3? JFK will be i think, but Im not sure it should be. I still fancy Pheonix > JFK at current AP odds. |

now now jane
jane... how do ye get tickets for finals night ? |
|
By:
vaclad, so what price sky ?

There's more chance of Bertie Ahern being put in charge of the collection plates at Mass in Drumcondra this morning than there is of me being at the final.
No sign of any tickets for the final being sold - or even plugged - at any of the rounds so far. If you go to the lovethedogs.co.uk site and hit the Wimbledon page, there's a phone number that you can call to but tickets at £12 a pop. (No on-line option. I don't suppose they have the Internet at Wimbledon. It wasn't around last time they did any cleaning or maintenance in the 1980s.) I'd say you'd get 2/1 Taylors Sky. He might be in at 7/4 on reputation and the fact that "C Lister Obe (unatt)" appears next to his name on the card, but he can't be certain to lead up by any means and he could be in trouble if he doesn't. I think he'll turn third and find enough to qualify. |

thanks jane, and i'd bite the hand off anyone offering 2's

Just watching the sky programme now, looks like a great crowd last night at Wimbledon
|
|
By:
to a 100% book i make Sky a 9/4 shot. As Jane says, think he will be about 2/1

Prices now up on 0ddschecker from 3-6-5, Vic, Cyril's, Paddy and Joe's... but not from Billy's.

Only Mr. Roseff's lot going 2/1 the champ.... which means you probably won't get on with the amounts Mr. Roseff used to take off bleary-eyed, pi$$ed, cochelled-up punters exiting the Victoria Casino on Edgware Road after a good night when he ran the Backhouse Shop next door.

Looking forward to the marathon on quarter final night

Anyone who wants 2/1 taylors can have it with me, priced purely on reputation. So lucky to get a run last night and not standing up from the boxes properly at all, which is what he did so well. I'd guess there's a bit of a niggle somewhere. Both the razl's will kill him to the corner and he cant catch, so simply cant be fav. Mind you there is the taylors sky luck factor to consider!!

Far too competitive to fancy anything very strongly now. Happy with my ante-post. Just hope i get all 6 in the final, so i dont have to add any more. Just a bit of juggling, balancing and hopefully, i cant lose

cmon geoff lol think hes a little kinky but has plenty pace xx

I think theres worse bets then Longwood hawk 50/1 e/w 1st 4 with P.P AND Ladbrookes .. the dog has great middle race pace and could easy quilify from the 1st heat where there is so much early with 1,2,3,and 6,... might just be an e/w player .
