Great railing grader from days gone by at Romford.  Any memories?

Hi Iris,
got a picture of lanky lar on the rostrum on office desk from 1981; brindle dog that was cheap purchase but was a win machine round Romford. Trained by Dave Oswald, he had the biggest overshot jaw ever seen...used to choke when eating his food as had to put his nose 2 inches in2 his diner to get any food. Great dog..real Romford 400mtr dog.

He's next to picture of Ballybeg Bob on rostrum @Haringay when winning the Gold Cup in the same year with Joe Cobbold(decoy dogs for all the younger ones)presenting the trophy. Feels like last week!!!!

Best ever Romford dog of my era has to be Lauries Panther thou he was not a good Romford dog(beaten in graded races there); but you could suffer that with a Laurels win and a derby win @ white city. Top marks to Terry Duggan and Carol Baggs n Phil who all looked after him, top dog top team.
