hi all i was just wondering if someone could explain the race classes to me, i know 1 is the fastest and 9 is the bottom but what do the prefixs mean? a and t etc? thanks

you are right 1 means top grade, and 9 usually bottom
a = standard distance
s = stayer
d = sprint
m = marathon (rare)
b = standard distance(rare also when track have a few different distances)
h = hurdle
t = trial
OR = open race

dogs are graded within each distance
