Henlow 8.58 looks between 4/5 Doonane Lad and 9/4 Crossfield Jet. Lad running out of his skin and Jet been a shade disappointing, so going for the shade of odds-on going onto 8.18 Hove 7/4 Spinkys Nod, double. Nod a bit unlucky when beaten by Lughill Valarie recently, can turn the tables, granted a smoother run.

Going against 2 big outsiders later at Hove. You could lay them, or find something to beat them, like me. 9.06 Tissue 4/11 You Mind Me, a very fast animal but the 8/1 each-way Farloe Ashes would appeal to me more.

9.24 4/6 Glenashe Rock in the hurdles. A most unpredictable betting medium, so lay or 5/1 Baran Bally Hi looks decent to return to form.

Got a NAP lined up but waiting to see how big it can get. Will try to post later Happy

2 bets for me

Lughill Valerie a good thing for a tr price but nap has to be Baran Samedi from that draw, nothing to stop him leading on rails, bottom just back from trials, doubt he or Kelly's will pick him up once in front. 10-3 very good, 4-1 silly.

Sorry to go against you Donemylot but Hove 8.34 7/2 Malbay Phanter (NAP). Trial-lines dont show it but bidding for 4 wins from 5 starts over course and distance. Trials away from the seaside track only average, but becoming something of a standing dish over 475m before lay-off. Was 6/4 when 5/1 Samedi last race in January but a shade unlucky. Not far off best looking at sprint and 475m trials and can come high, wide and handsome to assert run-in, as customary for him Wink

I opposed MP three times when he won, and backed him when he lost, so I know the dog! lol

I was on Samedi when he picked him up too, so the pain is felt, but the draw is so right I refuse to believe that BS will get picked up, he is running stronger on the run for home now, even given his age and amount of runs.

No odds-on here!

Yeah, good race. 7/2 in this sort of bread and butter race for Phanter not to be sniffed at though. Only time i back odds on is say in doubles, making the combined price odds against Happy

It is a bigger price than my tissue, but BS is even a bigger difference. Could back both really, but wont.

Best of luck anyway.

Same to you Done. Not a 2-dog race by any stretch either. Think Anni could give yours something to think about early but let's hope ours have a good buckle!
