She will be very hard to beat round Crayford, judged on her Romford success. Plagued by poor trap draws, she's due a huge change of fortune in that respect. Besides, where's the opposition? Fletch an unlikely starter, trip would be demanding for him anyway and Whitney isnt the most impressive of performers. Just hope Trend comes out of the Prestige okay, after another nightmare draw. Although already lumped on at 6s, the 5s still tempts me, GET ON!

Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • January 9, 2012 3:34 PM GMT
4 th feb Saturday nite!
Lot of that field ladbrokes put up wont run!
I wouldn't back anythink that ain't had a look round crayford,
Report woodmanchester • January 9, 2012 4:20 PM GMT
Sure Trend will be like another Group Skater or Midway Skipper at the circuit. Not disimiliar to Romford, and how impressive was she there?
Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • January 9, 2012 7:49 PM GMT
ROMFORD AND CRAYFORD ARE NOT THE SAME? ROMFORD 1ST BEND AINT LIKE CRAYFORDS FOR SURE! TREND WON WELL AT ROMFORD BUT THERE WHERE ARE SORT OF **** HAPPENING IN BEHIND!! 5/1 PRETTY SHORT!! WITH 4 WEEKS TO GO YOU AINT GOING TO WANT HIM COMING OUT OF 6 TOMORROW NITE BUT THATS WHAT ANTE POST ABOUT!
Report CobblerChris • January 9, 2012 8:02 PM GMT
I'd make Express a better bet at 4/1 tomorrow than 5 or 6 to 1 for the Jacket even allowing for the draw.
Report woodmanchester • January 10, 2012 11:59 AM GMT
You might be right Fatty but i've known railers who run Romford and Crayford equally well.

Sorry to disagree Chris, but Trend has plenty to do tonight. In contrast, she's every chance of getting some "soft" qualifiers en route to the Golden Jacket Final

What price now?! Happy
Report woodmanchester • February 1, 2012 2:22 AM GMT
Dangers seem to be fading like the morning mist. First Fleeting Image, now Ballymac Pet. It will be a walk-over soon, by default. Hope you took the 6/1, as strongly recommended! Happy

TRAP 4 Plain any chance of her ever drawing the rails? she has been very unlucky with draws
Report Red Robbo • February 1, 2012 2:02 PM GMT
Express Trend 9/2 365 very generous
Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • February 2, 2012 12:21 AM GMT
Express has got a very bad draw! IMO
If anyone watched crayford last Saturday it won't be hard not to notice!
Had two small bets so far
Coolykereen dip 50s
Coolavanny fairy 80s
Also see when all books priced up look at the bash!!Excited

Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • February 2, 2012 10:27 AM GMT
Can run how fast it likes where's the 5 dog going!
Report Winja • February 2, 2012 1:57 PM GMT
same place as trend only trend will have too much early to be troubled by creamery quest on the run up and with 3 darting in should have enough space to make the bend.....after that we will have to see
Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • February 2, 2012 3:10 PM GMT
Quest 23.68 45.79 would of been 23.60 for not moving to rails!
You might be right but I look for where dog go trap rise and quest will move for rails
Report Winja • February 2, 2012 4:05 PM GMT
quest has been round crayford a dozen times while trend should improve for the first look trial....i would be fairly confident that 4 would do 5 for early pace but that will not be the story of the race
Report ReimerpYsatnaf • February 4, 2012 12:13 PM GMT
I've took on Express Trend, wouldn't mind seeing her win but think she is probably short enough.

Millwards Swaby 2pts @ 16/1

Bubbly Swallow 2pts @ 20/1

Farley Zach 1pt @ 7/1

Farley Zach was awesome in the trial stake he won and on the back of that it could be argued he deserves to be favourite. I think the other 2 could be big prices. Millwards Swaby was in the final of the Prestige won by Express Trend and has trialled well around here so 16s looks big with what looks a nice 1st round draw for her. Bubbly Swallow looks to have buckets of pace if securing a run and her trial looks decent and at the price is worth backing.

Taken on express not say she can't win it think bush as a plot in 6, not say she the best stayer just with the 5 dog heading rails. Thank will at 8s is a price but that dog nuts! Not look at the under card yet go though it now

Here's 2 to lay outright!

I've backed Banba the Face @33-1 and Wise Signal @ 14/1.

I love Express Trend but I reckon she is too short in a competition full of decent railers.

Report woodmanchester • February 5, 2012 3:48 AM GMT
Very happy thanks but still 2 races to go. Thought she would be well to the fore last night, as seen and very hard to hold. To be honest, surprised how Monarch made up some ground. I would have had Trend going further and further away, but there was only ever going to be one winner. Some say luck on her side in Prestige but shes some tool coz she can do it both ways. On at 6/1, but the 9/2 was equally as good at the start proper. Only saw Zach as any form of danger and that only on the strength of the trial stakes victory. Confident as can be with so many railers still in, but not counting my chickens just yet, with Rockview Sail's demise still fresh in the mind
Report Winja • February 6, 2012 1:12 PM GMT
she ran well early as expected and kept going but let’s not forget the snow melting made the ground much faster for her heat........the achilles heel will be staying against proper eight bend dogs and we saw a glimpse of that on saturday with blackrose monarch clearly gaining two bends from home…I feel she may be susceptible to the strong finish of dogs who will not get gapped and if she is led then not absolutely guaranteed to come from behind……still she wont be beaten far IF she is beat.....
Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK • February 6, 2012 1:24 PM GMT
With what I saw there won't be many leading her maybe fairy or tommy on what I saw , blue bee would of needed the run maybe more to come from her! But I know it was no time
But billy run on like train though only coming back from season,
See what the draw brings up

Report woodmanchester • February 7, 2012 8:06 AM GMT
Not sure i agree Winja. Trend came from behind to win over 750m Romford if memory serves, so 714m should be no problem. Like i said, surprised Blackrose Monach made up some ground but looking for a big run from that tonight against Fleeting Image at Henlow
Report Winja • February 7, 2012 10:25 AM GMT
the fact they are switching monarch ahead of saturdays semi-finals tells its own story but you must surley accept that trend was tiring coming home.......
Report woodmanchester • February 7, 2012 12:03 PM GMT
Yes, Trend didnt keep going as well as i expected, that's what puzzled me. Maybe Monach is extremely strong, explaining the inroads made but the way Trend hammered her rivals when leading over 750m on her eight-bend debut at Romford, suggested to me 714m would be easy
Report ReimerpYsatnaf • February 7, 2012 12:06 PM GMT
Woody if i remember rightly there was dogs messing and a lot of interference behind her that day hence the winning distance being totally extreme.
Anyway she won't be getting picked up if leading
Report woodmanchester • February 7, 2012 12:10 PM GMT
Hope not PF. I would be hopeful she can gain the upper hand if not leading early too

i hope lottes gets a tow from zach, she idled for 8 bends tues imo and the extra run may have brought her further forward?

Oh well, i thought Express Trend the right bet at 6/1 but it wasnt meant to be. Maybe she's just gone over the top. Thought it strange the way she came back to Monach the time before, seems that was a warning, as somebody knew, she drifted like a barge today. Cant blame the draw, she's overcome poor draws time and time again, just very lack-lustre. Didnt pick a foot up throughout Cry

Possibly Mad Dog but i was very disappointed with the effort compared to previous runs. Cant say she missed it and went up straight enough but showed very little for my money Cry Only hope now Zach gets the dough back. Think it could vie for favouritism but the "coffin box" not good Sad
Report DONEMYLOT • February 13, 2012 8:46 AM GMT
4 not great but was hoping for trap 3 anyway as I think Zach will trap quicker from the draw at this track. The races looked a slog and the thawing out of the ground over a week wll do him the world of good as I think he is the fastst here by 2 lengths, and 5 on the first lap. Worry for me is Lottes trapping and checking off at the first as she tends to do, but on all known form Zach should be clear. Not trusting the Blue Bee run for some reason and she is in a bit of grief with red certain to move off.

A great heat, but I still have FZ nearer 2-1 than 11-4
