Rutherford at Newcastle, although you will be lucky to get your dogs in, not a gambling kennels and dogs welfare is the priority. Nobody at Sunderland.

Rutherfords, absolutely not a gambling kennel, yes they like a small punt like most of us, but they dont put dogs away and fire them up the next week like some trainers, just ike ............. you know you.

if you want a trainer who makes your dogs a priority then find one who doesnt have a bags contract....because the tracks dont give a flying feck about your dogs welfare..all they want is your dog running 3 times a week until it is totally done in...then you are expected to rehouse the dog and start again.....the bags trainers are just supplying the cannon fodder!

sunderland very tight track, dogs regularly go lame
brough park, running surface is running over 200 spots slow badly mentained running surface.
Trainers at both tracks are mostly jumped up flappers with a transit van.
On a serious note if you go to any of the above tracks for a night out you must be able to drink 20 pints of lager, stand outside in sub zero temparatures without a jacket or jumper.,and go a reet pet every 30 seconds.
DONT DO IT MAYBE TRY SHEFIELD

You won't find a better trainer than Yvonne Bell for the welfare of your dog. She and her family care deeply for the dogs. They have an excellent set-up and on Sundays, owners are most welcome to walk their charges and have a coffee and a chat. It isn't a gambling kennel. I've been with them years and would fully recommend them.
Nice people.

on a serious note, imo i think you fellows who come on here slating this and that about tracks, trainers, kennelhands etc, are doing these people a great disservice. anyone who has owt to do with the care of, or training greyhounds knows that it aint an easy or rewarding job. especially in these current temperatures.these people deserve a lot more than you morons spouting your crap.if your all so clever and know what "goes on" why not keep it to yourselves and make lots of dosh, instead of coming on here and talking through your pockets.

Big race double today alpha with small & mighty. What a training performance last night by Yvonne to coax a win out of Kizzy's, despite being badly handicapped ! The journey back to Boro flew by. Good job something can win from the Boro seeing that football team can't.
