Probably Sheffield. The owner also owns the casino next door, he likes to get the punters into his casino after going to the dogs. Also, it is definitely NOT in a prime housing area. And businesses aren't buying up land to develop at the moment, so yes Sheffield for me.

well i go belle vue sometimes and been shef a few times and if it was level playing field i rhink the zoo would outrun sheffield , this is only an observation and again i must say i dont understand it fully BUT when i been shef the market very weak , and not many books there and not many punters in the ring , probably more at westhoughton , the big thing for greyhound racing will be when the bookies pull the bags plug

agree with Fashion; yarmouth has a seasonal audience which it knows how to accomodate; this, plus the racecourse and the general summer trade makes it a certainty to survive any winter of discontent

if or when BAGS AND BEGS pull the plug
not many tracks will surive
rumours has it that the big three only want to show their own tracks in their shops, that would spell the end of bags.
there is talk there there will be greyhounds on sky regular next year, sponspored by the bookies, but the question remains,
WHY, when they wont take a decent bet on open racing
how are going to make it pay?

its obvious to me they want full controll back and why not when you all tell them what they need to know love thenm or hate em they will only take so much (and so would any1 )

its the same with all perks in life , you find something good , some1 takes the** to much and it ruins it for every one

you are assuming that any degree of sensitivity towards or interest in the sport exists in those who own the cheque-book; you may be right, you may be wrong; philosophy will not rule ok!

im not assuming anything , what is obvious is there is no new tracks opening a few shutting and stuggling , not enough people putting in and to many taking out , so it can only go 1 way , so onw track will be last which one

Where could The Derby be possibly held apart from Wimbledon? I can't think of anywhere else that would be feasible.

Could Monmore deal with the crowd? It's bad enough at the Don.

Nottingham will be the last. No prospect of building on Colwick Park.
