THERE was good news for all connected with **yesterday as the Kent track was officially reinstated on the Bags service.
Having seen his track suspended from its Thursday and Saturday night slots in early October after a reported lack in confidence in its betting ring, promoter Roger Cearns was a happy man on hearing the news yesterday.
Cearns, who has added the services of bookmaker and TV pundit Gary Wiltshire to the ranks of on-course layers since the suspension, said: "It's been hard for us to remedy this situation as there had been no isolated incident that we could target and resolve - it wasn't like we'd had a doctored track or a wrong dog incident.
"However, I'm delighted that Bags have shown their restored confidence in us and what we do, and we will focus on providing the best quality service that we can."
Bags director John Johnson stated: "Discussions have taken place with the **management, various issues have been addressed, and I can confirm they will rejoin the service from December 10."
