Irish greyhound racing fans at home and abroad will be able to watch the Gain Corn Cuchulainn final live on RTÉ.ie on Friday, 16 July.
The special webcast from Harold's Cross Greyhound Stadium in Dublin will be live on RTÉ.ie from 9pm to 10pm.
In addition to live greyhound racing, the one-hour webcast will include features on the sport, and interviews with greyhound trainers and owners.
The Corn Cuchulainn began in 1961 at Harold's Cross and has since become very popular with racegoers.
Over the years some marvellous trackers have contested, and won, the 750-yard event.
Top of the list would have to be the legendary Ritas Choice. Trained by the late Gay McKenna, Ritas Choice won the Corn Cuchulainn back in 1973 and the same year he won the Cesarewitch at Navan and chased home Bashful Man in a truly memorable Irish Derby final at Shelbourne Park.
In winning the final Ritas Choice clocked 42.40, the fastest time in the final to that point.
The fastest winner to date is John McGrath's Sonatina with a 41.52 run in 2006, but one of the most sensational performances came from Sean Mulcahy's Corporate Attack in 2009 when he came from last place to grab an amazing victory. It was a performance that was to land him the Stayer of the Year Award.
Increased prize-money over the years has seen the Corn Cuchulainn become established as one of the top six bend events in the world and it first carried classic status when won by De Eight Wonder in 2005.
