I wouldn't think Belletti is nailed on, especially at the anticipated prices. It's a cracking field but he is not yet proven over this stiff trip and there isn't much margin for error in his heat. Yes, he did a great 515 trial but he is likely to be priced accordingly given his trainer/litter sister connections.

i agree... but your basing your bet on 1 run when he went past go big hitter... i honeslty think i could go past go big hitter after 600m ... so thinking 4s is huge is mad..

I could have huge egg on my face if he flops first round but Charlie travelling from Notts to hove for a trial is a huge plus in itself.

Both make good points. His run against GBH told us nothing, the Sky presenters were wrong to go over the top. having said that, he could be anything. On top of that, will he pass CR, or my fancy Group Skater? Doubtful. Gl tho

Belletti is an absolute aeroplane. Beats CR in a match 99% of the time.

Yes i know hes unproven just analyse his four bend runs add to the fact that it was his first 6 bend run.

I believe the dog could be the next 6 bend superstar and if he gets through that tricky heat nothing will stop him in the comp!

Stow i value your opinion immensely but please dont think i base this on just one run the dogs four bend runs since returning from Injury have been outstanding and like his brothers and sisters will appreciate the campaign over 6.

Maybe im being co cksure in saying hes a moral just the way i am and it always bites me on the ar se!

Red in First semi nailed on to qualify

Massively impressed with DB's pace off the second bend...most impressive heat winner to the eye...although didn't catch the final heat. Hoping he will stay better as competition progresses, but judging on tonights performances doesn't need to. Came away well but didn't appear to run the first bend with real intent, but off the second suddenly took off. Don't know if improvement can be expected regarding attacking the first bend, but if any is forthcoming will prove very difficult to deal with. Have followed BB in and backed at 9/2 VERY pleased with what I've seen so far. GL

And don't forget DB destroyed the field in the most competitive of the first round heats.

CE def ran the first bend better than DB but woudl expect DB to be in front by the third bend all things being equal.

HWW appeared not to stay the full distance. CR also faded markedly off the final bend.

At the moment main concern is either BP or BD from final heat outstaying DB. Did anybody see all four heats?

was there and watched all four and imo going much better outside seemed to kick up terrible inside crayford esq was the thursday before aswell, belletti showed nice pace done everything right and of course will come on, but more impressed by group skater in defeat on worst of track made up ground comfortably and he will come on alot aswell left plenty out there, likely to have better draw in final also more outs and better value

not the greatest draw DML but hoping crown rover has gone and can negotiate skipper quite early he left plenty out there last time on a track def not favouring him so we'll see, as for belletti got to do it right early and good test for his stamina if he dosent

I strongly fancy Bush Paddy to qualify of course its pretty much a no brainer considering the draw he has but currently 11s on here outright surely hes worth backing and then laying off at obviously shorter odds.

For future reference Droopys Belletti showed same enthusiasm through the race that he showed for the first bend last week i.e none.

Maybe DB doesn't do his running unless in the clear..certainly looked like that tonight.

and therefore justifying not running in The Derby?

cant believe that is his running tbh, he is a flying machine, but the price was always based on repuatation

DB did do some running from second to third but then checked wide; maybe just maybe hurt something at that point but for whatever reason did nothing thereafter...

Capel Smiley is in fantastic form, get on at 4's. im on big time at 10's.
