Newlawn Class NR , one-time ante post favourite for the Williamhill.com English Derby is a very doubtful starter after sustaining an injury in the invitation open at Shawfield on Saturday night.
Following a slow start, Newlawn Class took a heavy bumping on the opening bend and trailed in at the back of the field. However trainer Pat Buckley reported yesterday that the dog is almost certain to miss the Wimbledon classic.

Cork trainer John Linehan is set to make his first venture outside Ireland when he brings last weekends qualifier Droopys Sastre to Wimbledon for the Williamhill.com English Derby.
Droopys Sastre was an impressive winner of the Trial Stake at Curraheen Park last Saturday in 28.46 when he led home Barefoot Bullet. After deliberating with the owners, Linehan has confirmed that he will be travelling.
