I think Droopys Pique the stand out dog, drawn trap 5 when the dog is a railer nearly knocked over at the first and still managed to finish only a length off the winner.i think the dog would have been quickest of the night

Tricky little track for pups, to be sure.

Very few dogs in the comp got a clear run and there was major carnage in a couple of the races. I suspect the competition winner will need luck in all it's 3 races.

Apart from the obvious Little Sensation, the two most impressive to the eye were the McNair's Total Reality and particularly Barry Draper's Bowtime Lefty who came from an impossible position to all but win his heat.

agree a lot hangs on the draw; would have been nice if it was conducted on the night. hope the 2 dog in Bim Bam Boozle's heat is not as badly injured as it looked. Any info on this?

any one else thinking the 4 dog as awkward in the last heat was a bit unkind; it was turned sideways first. Something else that qualified 'looked' near the line imo but nothing said.

I believe that the dog which was carried off, Fatboyz Romeo, suffered a shoulder injury, which although potentially serious, is maybe not as bad as looked likely at the time.

I think Droopys Puyol could have been given the benefit of the doubt as he had just taken an almighty bang before he turned his head.

With regard to the other possible iffy qualifier, which it is not fair to name on here, I watched the video a couple of times and it seemed to me that it was more a switch of position, rather than deliberate interference, which caused the coming together.

I don't know why they couldn't do the semi final draw on the night - possible the 14 minutes between races would have made it pretty tight, time wise. It would have been worth making the effort though.

Was dissapointed by dog didnt get through drawed in trap 2 she had a dog in 1 which was classed as a middle runner normally races out of 3 and 4 and just cause her a lot of trouble. But thats the up and downs of greyhound racing.Fancy Droopys Pique to win it though.
