Got a feeling that those at the top of the board will not be as far ahead as they may appear. I likle Jordans, he is the sort of dog that wants summer fast going, and when he comes away, he is a joy to watch. Despite winning the heats of the Eclipse I always felt he was a couple of lengths down on his previous form.

good luck liquor! :-) your money waiting at 90's?? we laid ready last year at 180 and easy at 200. lol. first bets we took. Lost a bundle on here as a result, i love the dog...been no p/c for awhile now. lol.
By:
I keep having 1p bets matched. it makes me laugh, got a large book to fill and keep getting 1p bets matched every now and again? The 1.99 guy seems to be back. :-(

I know there is a question mark over his temperment but if his head is right then Westmead Grant will be a big player. He has the speed to beat Tullymurry Act (who can do 28.24 in SPK), and he will usually have his box. It will be interesting to see how he comes bak from his break

Derby winner still not been named in any threads yet. MARK EM !
By:
maybe new trip 470 meters this year ...
By:
fred, the boys and I will be playing on ourwinnings for a long time! :-) we back Ready (Del Boy) on here as soon as the market allowed, so I'm sure they would have been our bets. Bookie's took it harder than you 250/1 down.
Hopefully this year will be a much fun as last, altho the track 10 meters shorter won't help! Good luck this year and keep laying the big uns. Lee |

Nice one liquor Senseless. lol. We didnt keep all the 180, it was 200 i think at the time with hills so we had a 'free bet' kinda for a few quid too. We were desperate for zafonic having smashed 365 to the point we'r now banned. lol. but farloe was our big winner :-( ....congrats again + g/l.

By:
does any body know if NEWLAWN CLASS and TULLYMURRY ACT will be running.........
By:
given class beat the derby favourite at Wimbledon the other week the first has to be a definite yes or why else would they have brought him over for a one off?
the second is English owned with a lot of early and it has been stated our derby is a target. however, I believe he's injured his hock and off for a while. |
By:
nah SMD is far too good a greyhound to be running at the gaff tracks in england, will stick to the premier races in ireland, shirley B-)

Does anyone think that it may be worth wating to see what the new first bend and trip are like before getting too involved. I realise that if we're backing young dogs at fancy prices its a bit of a shot in the dark anyway, but some who didn't like the track last year may like it this and vice versa.
By:
yes that worries me ^^^ however the 2 dogs i have backed i believe should be considerably shorter
By:
Pat Buckley informs us that we wont see the Puppy Derby winner Tullymurry Act for a little while yet.
By:
do not worry its blunderland
either be run over original trip/circuit or at hall green B-) or then again could move it to a premier greyhound track like shel park and call it the derby for selling class greyhounds and the odd irish a4 cork dog to give then a chance cup B-) |
By:
B-)
By:
