his sectional wasn't bad, Cashen Legend ran wide and baulked him. dwfibitwly better early pace this year

its only a great dog when in the clear!....it has no track craft whatsoever and i will state here and now that it will not win this competition!.....a very fast dog...but im afraid a little brainless in traffic!

He is a great dog END OF!!!!
Report ChildOfMine2 August 16, 2009 1:03 PM BST
He's the best dog I've seen and he deserves to win an Irish Derby now. Anybody who has seen him race would surely agree!
Report CastnoStones August 16, 2009 2:29 PM BST
His two sectionals in the Derby so far show only St Louis Spirit & Fatzboy Nodrog & Mesedo Blue (of the major contenders) likely to get to be ahead. He showed good track craft on Thursday as well. We all know his raw speed. What more do people want?

to be entered in the english derby B-)

doh how did i get another chance to point this out!
Report CastnoStones August 19, 2009 1:20 AM BST
nobody cares about that! his owners decisions do not affect his ability :)
Report armchair jockey wilson!! August 20, 2009 9:59 PM BST
college causeway aint gonna win the irish derby....end of!
Report premier fantasy August 20, 2009 10:26 PM BST
i never said he was going to win the derby, i said he was a great dog which he is and if you can not see that you should take up another game.
Report Sylvander August 23, 2009 5:24 PM BST
The real question about the dog here - in my opinion - is why connections had it so far forward for its first run? As soon as it broke the clock you knew it would be all downhill from there.
Report frank60 August 23, 2009 5:58 PM BST
i dont think hes gone downhill syl, he still unbeaten, if he did a solo over 550 i belive he would clock close to 29.21, the reality is, hes not a fast breaker so therefore he gets trouble, what make him great is ability to win races when he looks beaten. WIN OR LOSE he will also be a great fav for his irish fans, frank

I agree with everything you say frank. I would have been more accurate to ask how he could possibly reproduce that running later on in the comp.
Report Sylvander September 8, 2009 7:32 PM BST
He's showed us how!!! Some greyhound. Just needs a bit of luck though to get a fair run in the Final. I hope he does win though because great dogs deserve the great prizes.
