It’s been some time since Victor was on the verge of world number one, before swing changes and coaching shifts disrupted his form. Rumors now suggest he has reset: returning to his natural swing, sharpening his short game, and putting in hours to refine distance control. If confidence carries into 2026, he looks a strong contender for the majors—potentially top‑10 or top‑5 finishes, and perhaps even a breakthrough victory. Having come close on several occasions, it would be great to see him back in contention.

Anyone havee any ones to look out for in 2026?

Like those 4 a lot, had Cam Young in my list from around 22/23 so I have collected a bit on him, especially when he blew them away in Houston.

Here are 10 that will be decent plays going forward

Matti Schmid - TElite as an amateur with a ceiling higher than people realise.

Jordan Spieth - On tough courses, His short game rescues rounds others would implode on, some have given up on which should make him overpriced.

Vincent Norrman - Long, athletic, and improving fast. He’s the type who can spike in windy or exposed setups.

Tommy Fleetwood - He’s built for majors: flighted irons, patience, and elite scrambling. One of the most reliable “big week” players. (Most club pro's will show clients his swing as the ideal model in golf, thats how good he is)

Rasmus Neergaard‑Petersen - Raw but powerful. Once he tidies up the decision‑making, he’ll be a factor.

Aldrich Potgieter -The South Africans keep producing monsters. He’s long, fearless, and has that “big‑course DNA.”

Couvra - The Rory comparison isn’t crazy — the swing is that good. If he ever gets a reliable short game, he’ll explode.

Max Greyserman - Four runner‑ups tells you all, he is close to winning.

Jackson Koivun (a) - He’s already playing like a mid‑tier pro. When he turns pro, he’ll be one of those guys who contends immediately.

Jayden Schaper - South African, technically sound, mentally tough. If he goes to the States, he’ll accelerate even faster.
