HI guys? New in this forum...
I was wondering if someone could help me or tell me where to find the info. I am looking for a stat really, or a rough stat.
How often do the first 10/12 in the betting (the favourites) win a golf tournament, in percentage. It seems like outsiders (40-1 +) seem to win a disproportionate amount of time. Could someone give me their rough estimate of how often someone of 40-1 or higher win (in percentage). I'd like that stat for PGA and for DPWT please? I am aware that in the majors, the heavyweights tend to always win. but the lesser events?? I am intrigued and wonder if I should ALWAYS avoid the top of the market?
