Had it been only a traffic violation I may have agreed with the good Dame; however the charge list includes second degree assault of a police officer.

“Detective Gillis’ uniform pants, valued at approximately $80 (£63), were damaged beyond repair.”
App the police grabbed hold of the car and held on until he stopped and got mildly injured and the above. Will no doubt have Post Trouser disorder syndrome and be off work for a few years. I know someone over here got smashed in the head by a copper, bled on the coppers shirt and was done for assault. Works out ok though as he knicked his police car the week after. |

Bizarre! Why did the cop "attempt to attach himself to the car"? A reckless and stupid thing to do. Why not follow him into the Club and speak to him calmly in there? Maybe the cop saw his chance at 15 minutes of fame, or a payout.
