not content with being multi millionaires and living the life of riley, the LIV mob want more money. Millions not enough for them. Talk about divorced from the real world.

They're perfectly entitled to go for as much cash as they can get. What effect associating with a disgusting regime will have on the up market image of golf is a different argument.

Unbelievable amounts of money and good luck to them.
But it would be nice if one of the top players (who are fantastically well off already) said, "I'm doing it for the money." Instead of saying stuff like, "It's the best thing for my family and I don't want to be playing golf when I'm fifty, etc." |

incredible that some can be so easily influenced by those crying on the PGA. Here is how greedy golfers are,
An average tournament has 156+ players of which only usually the top 50/65 and ties making the cut get paid. The average cost to play an event on tour is £7000 - £11000 per event Players normally need to play a minimum of 15 tournaments only the top 125 retain their card, the remainder have to go back to qualifying school or are done only the very best make golf work, loads of tour winners are done within 2 years They reckon most golfers only peak for 2 years Golf is not even in the top ten paid sports in the world LIV has improved the PGA prize money by around 100% and caused changes to tournaments to guarantee all players get a payday A Womans Basketball player in America will earn more than an average tour golfer. Compare Rhams payday to Ronaldo, Messi or a top basketball player and its not excessive, its comparable. Lets hope more jump and the PGA finally pay these average golfers enough to survive. |
