I walked the course this morning and was amazed how green it was. Watched the Molinari brothers with Hovland drive at the 3rd and the balls only ran 2 or 3 yards after landing, though this was into the wind.
There is very little thick rough.

It remains an average golf course in a magisterial, ostentatious setting.
Thanks SF....with those conditions, Mcilroy is a pretty strong favourite......even at 7.8 with no run/fiery fairways he could well be a couple of points shorter. Par 68 for him.

the golf resumes 6-40am saturday, will now be a 54 hole event with the intention of finishing on sunday.
Set up lovely for tomorrow. Should be a cracking final round. 
54 holes the future ... wonder if they will get world ranking points
what a lovely gesture,to make one of the flagship events on the dp world tour over 54 holes,just to make the liv boys feel at home.
what time the leaders out?, dp tour saying 3-40pm, sky news saying 1-10pm.
Will Sky show Talor Gooch this round? Two shots off the lead,top 50 player. They will look very silly if they continue the no liv players on screen policy if he stays in contention.
2.40 - there was a 90 minute delay this morning
36 within 4 of the lead with a round in the low 60s highly possible
