A Schauffele 16.5 -Great battler, bit short-priced but could be his time.
A Bhatia 75 -Good all-round player, still a bit under-rated imo.
R Henley 80 -Decent majors record and excellent on approach. Can be dodgy under pressure. Fingers crossed.
C Gotterup 80 -First go at the Masters - very likeable battler.
J Knapp 90 -In great form. One of my favourites.
N Hojgaard 90 -Good record in Majors. May be over-priced.
A Scott 100 -Overall game is very good, atm. Just needs a little luck with the putter. Very experienced.
J Bridgeman 100 -Very likeable. Great with the putter.
K Kitayama 230 -Very good tee-to-green and putting is improving!
R Fox 460 -Big hitter and one of the better longshots!

Can you please explain why you are mentioning the golfers who are in the top ten when you are quoting Betfair win prices?

I recently had a bet e/w on Auberg at 12/1. He was in front and clear by a few shots, but and tied up . Lost the win but the place money was saved all I got back from sadblokes was a few bits of change with my place stake. I think e/w 8 but 9 players were in the first 8. So a you could say tied. Lesson learn't do not bet golf e/w. Bet win only.Try a place bet only on here. Books catch you every which way.

I thought I asked a reasonable question.

Clerkmore, rasp is very kindly putting up his/her very shrewd picks for free. Never once have I seen any attempt to solicit for anything. Knowing if they finished in the places adds to the fun of following how the picks are getting on in general.  I think both your original comment and follow up could be interpreted as a bit more shirty than appropriate, and very possibly than intended.

Expect some people will be going ew top 10 finish too, others might do exchange back to lay

It's just the way I've always done it!

I try to find some value picks and I do lay a bit when I can (usually after the second round and onwards).

Show results to level stakes (think that's the fairest way). Struggling to get one over the line this year

but have had three or four nicely profitable tournaments through backing then laying.

Thanks for your reply. I know that the place top ten prices on here are nowhere near one fifth which you would get with the high street bookies. So I couldn't see the relevance of you mentioning the places. However, if you are laying your picks then that's a different story.
