Feeling a little bit of hurt following Manchester United's penalty shoot-out defeat in the Europa final. And still wondering how Mickleson beat a strong field last weekend. Phil won the competition and did it with his head in his chest. The amount of world class golfers who left so many putts short of the hole was incredible. The greens were impecable, only thing was the greenkeepers did not do as normal and left some grass at a nice level. I hate greens that are red on the stintmetre. Was in deep during the middle of the tournament so decision time came and had to lay Brooks. Still made a loss but rearranged the carnage to have an amber result.
Not sure will I leave JT out of my investments this week, agree with the rhino on Speith but price is skinny. Plan is to see what is happening after 2 rounds. Fairly sure Shane Lowry has cemented his spot for Ryder Cup selection after his round played with Padraig last week.. |

wont be getting stuck into the market leaders the week after a major, chancing tringale this week, he was topping the leaderboard in the us pga until a complete meltdown in the last few holes. he has 2 top 10s and 3 missed cuts in the last 5 tournaments, its either all in or go home

Took a punt on Palmer, even though out of form plays this place well. Rose and Ancer also. GL.

Lots of late money for Spieth and Morikawa.

Strange one to see Phil teeing it up here, you'd think a shot of the double at the Senior PGA would have appealed, would be a feat unlikely to be repeated.
By:
You would be a backer at short odds as well if he did try for it TB.
By:
Judging by the start he'd be far better off playing with people his own age this week.
By:
Given the size of his ego I imagine he's happy to be here and soak up the attention and all the congratulations from his fellow pros, but I'd be surprised to see him on the weekend.

Since he's 2 under through 2 I'll declare my regular bet on Vince Whaley.

This guy won a major last week

Just when you think there couldn't be a bigger story than Phil winning Erik Compton hits the front.

PHIL LAYERS PGA looking on in horror as phil fails to hit a fairway off the tee

Surely Speith is too low at c 2.2.....
Obvious favourite and I have laid already at c 3 but a tad short with 36 to go..... |

Must admit I wasn't expecting a matchplay situation for tomorrow
By:
Expect Kokrak will put up a fight but Spieth to pull a rabbit out at some point and get the win.
By:
Kinda like that.
By:
Woeful Jason.
By:

What a lovely day here in Tipperary. No bet on this yet. Hope Speith wins for ;therhino;
By:
can spiff lose this?
By:
Could happen of course. Prices are about right though.
By:
Have taken a punt at 1.56 Speith. This 3rd shot will bring him a focus early on.
By:
Sort of start that would give the field a shot in the arm if the field were anywhere to be seen.
By:
Let's hope the standard improves over the next 16 holes.
By:
If that's the easy holes dealt with then someone wants to stick anything double digits in the house and see what happens.
By:
wtf is Spieth up to
By:
Troy Merritt might want to hit the range.

This is where Jordan usually rolls the 25 footer in then streaks comfortably away.
By:
I mean Jason.
By:
certainly improved his putting a lot has Kokrak
By:
Spieth into chase mode and immediately starts hitting shots.
By:
It's really not that hard of a course.
By:
Hoffmeister certainly does love Texas
By:
Stricker properly mugging the senior PGA
By:
Spieth certainly woken up now
By:
Not sure why you land it short when it's made to be spun back but I'll take it.
By:
