think Hideki San is a lovely guy,be awesome for the game in SE Asia if he were to win
but have just had to lay him @1.95 so anyone on him or thinking of backing him fill your boots cos he's bound to win now ![]() |

By:
he's done one miracle (4 birdies and a eagle0 back nine. HE WONT DO ANOTHER MIRACLE WILL HE. NO.

i,m on matsu but the way i look at these things till its over a one stroke lead i count as nothing for betting purposes pre round, and theres 4/5 at 7 under so with easy par 5 at no 2 before he tee,s off matsu .s lead in his own head will be down to 2

10 years ago Hideki played in his first masters as an amateur when a certain Rory McIlroy started the final round with a FOUR shot lead ! 80 strokes later he wasn't even in the top 10 ! Anything can happen around this place and usually does !!

Matsuyama's driving accuracy 5/14 in round 3 (worst of the field).
He had three eagles, in rounds 1, 2, 3 at 8th, 13th, 15th (best of the field). |

rose birded first two holes 3rd round & nearly managed to put himself out of contenion

Matsuyama's driving was good rounds 1 and 2. Hit 10 and 11.
Think yesterday he was in 3 fairway bunkers. So not that far off line and 3 others were only a yard off the fairway. He did get a bit lucky with the 4 wayward drives which were all treebound but allowed him to play some sort of shot. So I'd be hopeful of a few more fairways today. |

Jason Kokrak and the 5th hole - bogey, double bogey, bogey. double bogey.
Three times out of four he drove into the fairway bunkers. This is my recommendation - try aiming somewhere else. |

mountains of money todd to win 2-ball
todd v olazabal olazabal had a 7/6 , just losing by 1 stroke after 10 |
|
By:
Tracker shows Todd in the trees on the left off the tee on 13th, about 210 yards out.
|
|
By:
Todd reloads and tries again on 13.
|
|
By:
Todd fourth shot to 10 feet. Olazabal on the fairway 108 yards out, played two.
|
|
By:
Olazabal third shot to 5 feet. Exciting stuff.

For two-ball punters, the fact that Jose Maria Olazabal was so competitive for so long on Saturday shouldn't kid us into a conclusion other than this one: William Hill's 4/6 about Brendon Todd beating him is absurd. Other firms go short of 1/2 and have it right. I can't recommend a bet that might only be available to a handful of readers, but if you can get that 4/6 you're getting value whether Todd shoots 80 or not. todd might shoot 85 ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
Todd pars the 13th after losing a ball off the tee (an eagle with his second ball).
Olazabal birdies and they are all square at +3 on today's round. |

Had to do a double take when I saw Hideki is still in his 20s - seems to have been around forever. Who do we like from the chasing pack? Rose really struggled for those 2 par rds, but obviously has done well here, xman - I'm still not convinced by him when amongst them, Leish should be pretty solid and Zalatoris couldn't give a fk it's his debut - looks like he's been around the track loads. I know 4 shots looks like good padding, but even with 4 coming in to 10 loads can happen.

This is the 76th Masters, 47 individual winners to date, 32 of them only winning the once.
Spieth could change that and become just the 9th to win twice. Four three time winners, one four timer, one five timer, and then Jack out on his own with six. |

Champ pitching on with his second on the 13th.
Hope hediki puts on another exhibition today, him so far ahead will suit a lot of the chasing pack. I can see Schaffale making up the ground on the back nine |
