This is no surprise Claude Harmon said in an interview with Rich Beem at the Matchplay that DJ was heading to Augusta as soon as he was finished at the event ! Makes perfect sense.
By:
DJ is the WD king. How many is that now over the last 18 months?
By:
The late entry/early WD combo is next level stuff.

Ohhh Jordan, 15 here, 17.5 for Augusta.
Has to be worth 50 of our Great British Ponds, one would think! |

If the forecast is correct, late/early absolutely the side to be on. Makes an interesting proposition as the other side is weighted with more talent. Am going with the weather - ole mate, Kuchar and Putnam for me. |

I'll try not to moan too much about this dog of a course still hosting a tour event

If my calculations are right Rickie doesn't have any exemptions beyond this season, the way he's playing he could easily lose his card.
By:
Plenty of doubles and triples flying around, especially on the fives. Ancer went from 2nd to 22nd final 2 holes

It's not the liveliest track but it does at least provide a decent test, worse tracks than this on tour. Seen it get voted the pro's least favourite course on tour but you could argue that's not necessarily a bad thing.
By:
If these guys get the best of it tomorrow it looks like a big PM/AM advantage based on the current scoring.
By:
mickleson - only one putt 18th
took nine to get there |
By:
Nice to see Villegas up there after all he's been through. Phil seems to throw one of those every tournament it seems nowadays, still my fav player ever though.
![]() Not much difference on scoring am/pm, 73.13/73.63,cut likely +2 depending on weather today. |
By:
2.5 shots is a big difference
By:
Early starters mostly going backwards instead of kicking on so unless it really blows later might not be a big advantage after all.
By:
Cam's woken up though.
By:
This was from Thursday at Honda. Jones already proved me wrong, Cam looking to follow up:
Hank Hill • March 18, 2021 2:58 PM GMT Is it me or are Matt Jones and Tringale always up there on a Thu Total Bosman • March 18, 2021 3:18 PM GMT Yeah two guys who seem to play consistently well but you rarely seem to see either really in with a shot on a Sunday afternoon. |
By:
All the 14s Spieth Masters gone now ! As short as 10/1 in places so if he wins Sunday night can see him going off 7 or 8 to 1 Fav !
Absolutely incredible ! |
By:
Playing very well but the next couple of days will be a good test - he tends to get a bit wilder under pressure and there's a lot of trouble to be found round here.
By:
Amazed at Camerons short price 296 tour events and not one win.
By:
I'm still not convinced by Spieth. Vintage Spieth would be a few back at a tournament like this, string a few great holes together, jump into the lead and close out. Until he does this I wouldn't consider backing him.
By:
Spieth looking horrible - prob for the best - keep it til next week Jordan
By:
Waalce's putting looking like a Sunday already ffs
By:
Wallace - not been on the drink I swear

Just checking the Masters latest- appears Koepka is intending to play? The reporting suggested he wouldn't be within a million miles of being ready so that suggests to me the injury was over-hyped, maybe even by Brooks himself. Have had a play in the 40s, obviously there's now a good bit of doubt but seems to me if he's too injured to play well then he just won't play at all so seems like a bet to nothing.

By:
spiff has held it together for 3 days, the banks will burst tonight
By:
I hope not on this occasion...
Desperately hoping he puts it all together and strolls home. Tbh if he cant against this lot I'll be worried, very worried. Biggest bet by miles for Masters. Surely cant win there if cant strum this lot. |
By:
Amazed not odds on.
What price is he a few years back. ![]() 123. |
By:
On paper this is between the final group but I feel like all three have these have the ability to go backwards quite rapidly if things go against them.
By:
Can any one explain why Spieth has driver in hand?
Any hole bar 5s.... Another caddy just carrying bag. Crazy stuff.crazy. |
By:
Hoffman is a beast on this course and when chasing. If Hoffman performs, then a Spieth win will be an above average tournament victory.
By:
Spieth has 2 of golf's biggest chokers to beat..whether he can is moot but it wouldn't reflect well on him if he doesnae prevail
By:
The Hoffmeister miscalculated - he thought he'd done enough to be penultimate group to avoid bottling - ends up in final 3 ball
By:
looks like this feed is at least 30/40 secs behind real time..the betting already tells what has happened
By:
o/r 2nd fave for Masters if he takes this
By:
the Hoff is a very able, streaky, hot player..if he was equipped with cojones he'd have won way more often
By:
Spieth had turned into a bit of a choker himself before his form really dipped. This will be a very interesting final round!
By:
there are so many chokers in golf but i don't think i'd label Spieth one per se
his unworldly putting didn't hold up,he was army golf off the tee, both of which affected his confidence and it's a sort of catch 22 spiral he's defo got some mojo back and he's not an unlikeable guy like some are but doubt he'll reach the heights he scaled b4 but he'll have his moments |
By:
true johnny- I've always enjoyed watching him, certainly does love SA
By:
Think Greller will give Spieth a couple of cracks with the shalaylee on the back nine and he will draw right away !
