plenty of water about the course and its playing long enough, someone thats driving good here will go far into the tournament, chancing scheffler and morikawa at around 40s

Had a great time trading this market this week but absolutely no idea re a winner. Also not sure who might be inspired/dejected by the Tiger news this week. My idea of correlating courses might be Muirfield Village and PGA National which leads me to the one and only ponce
Of course I might just be creating a reason to back the ponce but at 90s, why not. |

Step up Hollywoods finest camp walking camp talking camp dressing in the closet golfer. I will probably regret it when he misses a 3ft putt but have backed the man wearing light pink. He seems to be driving it well....

JT has had a terrible couple of months.
|
|
By:
JT seems like he needs a good solid chunk of time off. The off-course stuff clearly had a big effect.

By:
Agreed. Head is not in the game.

Who'd have though the form guide for a big Florida course with four par 5's would be bloody Harbour Town.
|
|
By:
Yeah, it's a strange one. I guess maybe unfamiliarity a factor - if like Fitz or Webb your game is to hit the centre of every fairway, hit the green, make a putt, then that game will serve you anywhere, familiar or not. If you're a bomber you probably need to have a bit more course familiarity in terms of right / wrong places to miss.

wolff hitting his practice putt.. jesus

I think JT's round of 73 yesterday showed what a thorough pro he is ! He was +4 through the first 6 holes, had three balls in the drink and left one in the bunker when he hit the lip with a long iron into the par 5 so fully entitled to down tools with everything going on in his life ! But nothing of the sort head down and grind out a one over score to sit in midfield. With further improvement over the next three rounds whilst he's too far back to win I think a top 20 finish at odds against is more than fair !
