For a 27 year old has-been his body of work is ridiculous. So many crazy hole outs in tournaments he won. Used to do my head in.

Was able to max out his talents and cash in hugely for that shortish period.
Had a little help with lady luck along the way too.
Long long road back for Spieth imo. Was able to max out his talents and cash in hugely for that shortish period.Had a little help with lady luck along the way too.
I think his chances of regaining his top ranking are virtually zero . Nearly all the top players are big hitters and he hasnt got the power to compete. Same thing happened to Luke Donald. When you are hitting drive, seven iron and top players are hitting drive , 9 iron you havnt got a chance.

Agree with Jedi, long way back but not impossible. Still young enough to come again but a long road ahead. Seems in every round to have at least one disaster shot and if you are stood on the tee not knowing where it is going that is a problem.
Another heading in a similar decline all be it not from the same heights is Rickie Fowler.
Very difficult to stay at the top of the game for a sustained period.
