I believe this is the first time i have ever said this and prob the last but top of market looks about right
si woo kim - 2 poor efforts here. but a different golfer now and an impressive one at that!
Steele - played this 6 times won it twice, add that to the fact i think he's played his best golf ever this year, his iron play immense, easily see the treble coming.
mickleson - A win on the old man tour, weaker feild than normal and 2 top tens out of 4 attempts here means be folly to ignore him.
I will no doubt find myself a few at outrageous prices but if them 3 finished 1,2,3 in this i wouldn't be shocked tbh...

steele and grillo are mine for this, will minimize my liability on the other 2 and add a couple @ 300+ later and thats my lot for this....
Good luck and Enjoy

There is value here. Several players stand out at very generous odds.
I'm going with Steele, Varner and Dahman.
Hopefully at least one of them will be in the mix on Sunday evening.

Some crazy pictures from the course today... whole of Northern Cali is on fire. Virtually no daylight today with smoke blocking out the sun, you wonder if this can go ahead as scheduled.

Really not sure they should be playing with all that smoke around, fine for the players at a push, but not great for all the marshalls and old lads doing the Shotlink who have to stand about in it for 12 hours.

I agree. I have already laid off my bets on both Steele and Varner to leave me with free bets on both. I just need Dahman to have a good start later to do the same with him.

the woman in shot centre slot better in shot center, down to earth, I'm sure the guy knows his onions but he is simply incapable of dumbing it down for sky's audience lol, you can see him trying too...

Had many a heated debate on him on here when in his pomp and what I thought then has manifest itself, very poor off tee, very very good for a period on greens, very very fortunate on several occasions including an Open.
No more Majors for me, cant see it, he would take any kind of win I'd imagine.
Pretty sad really as a great watch, even still he is for the car crash.
Jordan Spiffy Spieth...14 off leader,4 off the cut.Let's be honest in a pretty woeful field. Is there any way back for him?.Had many a heated debate on him on here when in his pomp and what I thought then has manifest itself, very poor off tee, very
Said it before with Jordan, needs some proper time off to reset and rebuild, even if it takes a year. He seems like he hates golf - i watched the feature groups on Thursday and after three routine pars he looked like he was going to explode with rage. Can't be easy for him but needs to rediscover his love of the game. Tour could do him a favour too and stop putting him in featured groups every time he plays, give him some space to just play his game.

Thought would have tried the caddy change too, been proper friction there for a while.
Mike must have plenty to retire on.

I thought the same thing about Bones replacing Greller, would make a lot of sense. Jordan needs a top caddie to get him back on track and Bones knows a thing or two about guys who spray it off the tee then rescue it with a magical short game.

Does Bones want to full time caddy again? His place in the game seems perfect for a guy who spent so long carrying a bag - sweet gig as on course commentator and still moonlights on occasion for guys he likes when a short term gig presents himself. Would he really give that up to caddy for the David Duval sequel which at this point we can proclaim Spieth as being.

I'd love to Spieth get back to where he was, pure box office at his peak. The way he won some of those tournaments will love a long time in the memory bank. Majors side, the hole out from the bunker at the Travelers, with the crowd reaction and then the club throw and chest pump... One of the great PGA tour moments of the last decade.

-18 shouldn't stand a chance the way the course is playing and the number of players early in their rounds, but against these donkeys you just don't know.

looking at the leaderboard who can you really trust? certainly not Harry Crumb, I thought Hahn might make a run but he is +1. Wouldn't mind old geezer Cink winning

hey system you still do any footie bets or just golf now? I have had quite a few season bets, and have put WBA and Fulham in relegation trebles with West Ham, Palace and Burnley - what do you think?

np I thought you did for some reason. Ventura has given himself plenty of birdie looks - they can keep missing as far as I'm concerned. Can it really be 11 years since Cink won the open? doesn't seem possible

Had a very good run with Covid, first couple of weeks looked like it was going to be a major issue but have practically forgotten about it since then as a factor. Market currently 106.7% with Scottie still in it so some value on the board already even though it's early, especially when you factor in the true odds of some of those 1000 shots would be much higher than 1000.

With the possibility it was around at East Lake, plus guys jetting in from all over to play, certainly wouldn't bet against further positive WDs either.

Speaking of karma, Cink's regular caddie Henley is one of the worst guys on twitter, total bigot. About to miss out on a massive payday, gutted for him.
