1 of the biggest chokers around in Casey against a very decent closer like Mik 1 shot lead with 6 to go ! I would have Phil no bigger than 1.15 these 3s Casey backers don't like money imo

Casey even bottles finishing his round...lol. What a pillock.Even less chance Phil doing something daft in broad daylight and ideal conditions. What a plonker Casey is. Come on Philip.

Phil could make bogey minimum in a heartbeat at 17 in darkness. Yet he wants to play. Can't understand why didn't speed up earlier. Snails pace as usual. 5 hrs for 16 holes.

Not to mention the fact Phil is older, has back problems and quite frequently seems to struggle to finish off rounds due to fatigue. Why give him the rest?

Casey was quite correct to not continue imo. At least he will be able to see the line on his 3 and a half foot putt for par on 15 in the morning. Apart from which, he is ostensibly playing for outright 2nd place and has more chance of securing that by playing in the morning. The not small matter of the pro-am team 1st prize should also be considered.

I have no financial interest in this..what an absolute spineless, bottling POS Casey is..absolutely pathetic..this maggot couldn't win on the LPGA..those Korean girls would have him for breakfast
fair play to Phil(didn't hit any moving balls today tho'..wonder why that is?!)
Stallings another choker, played some great golf, missed a cpl of birdie chances then a bogey..he could've gone really close to winning
don't think team casey will be getting any Xmas cards anytime soon from Lefty!

Guy I feel sorry for is Stallings who presumably had to change his plans and get up at the crack of dawn for a miniscule shot at a play off. Bit awkward on the range - "Morning Phil, just here in case you blow 3 shots in 2 holes".

I see in classic forum style Phil is a genius for shooting -6 on a tricky day at Pebble and Stallings a pathetic bottler for shooting -6 on a tricky day at Pebble.

These c*nts (and we use 'le mot juste') Afterthought, johnnythebull & bobweenit, three born chokers themselves, go on the sh8te list for next Sunday afternoon. If you've nothing good to say, then say nothin' at'all.

ROLL ON the Johnny and Bob 'chokers show' with their usual Sunday nite fat lady singing 5hite.

Catch Me..u couldn't catch a cold, dude let alone make any money gambling..just another soyboy keyboard warrior who watches golf thru rose tinted glasses and can't see the blindingly obvious if it kicked him in the head
maybe some who actually watch sport and call it like it is can only aspire to be as smug and successful as someone like you and your merry band of metrosexual acolytes!

well done Phil, i would have preferred Phil to come second and Spieth to win but cant have everything. Very dissapointed in Spieth, but there are signs he is getting the groove back. In the last 5 weeks i have managed to reach mmy yearly minimum profit target already thanks largely to Kuchar and Phil turning bavk the clock, hopefully it will inspire some of the other older names to capture the form of their youth.

Please provide an example of Catch giving it the ‘big one’ about winning money on the golf.
Or more likely, as is your style, post some random foreign language sound-bite, via google translate, in a pathetic attempt to disprove you’re not the clueless clown we all know and love.
Come on johnnythepotless what say you ? (as if anyone gives a $hit )

COURSE HORSESwith T10’s form here in last 10/11 years…...
DJ, 6 – incl a win, but that was all of 10 years ago (beating Duval & JB) (Seven T10’s if you count his win in 2009) & reads 45th last year, 2, 3, 41, 4 & 2nd last six years, or 5 T3’s in 12 starts here. “The Man to beat!” Phil the Trill, 6 – with wins in 2012 and is defending Champ (as ‘oldest’ winner by 3 shots -19, from Casey who had a 3-shot lead Sunday, and it ran into Monday due to darkness & 6hr rounds). (5-time winner btw, along with Mark O’Meara). Jason Day, 5 - but current form??? Walker, 5 – 2014 winner (MC last year). Sneds, 3 - with 2013 (-19) and 2015 (-22 under!) wins (MC last year). Spieth, 3 - 2017 winner (& ’17 OPEN Champ too), so maybe happy memories is all we have to go on this week - that’s the $7.6Million dollar question. Streelman, 3 – (7th & 6th last two years).
OTHERS to note… Casey 2nd last year (& Pro Am winner) & 8th 2018 in his only two trips. Stallings, 2 - but they were 3rd and 7th last two years. Gay, 2 – 7th & 8th but 4 MC this season means you need to be brave. Grace – no better than 20th in two tries. GMac 1 (or 2) - on a roll (played well here before I tink on Father Day!) Homa – 10th last year on 4th attempt and in good form. Champ - 28th last year on debut. Justin Suh (22yo, Sponsor invite) - 6th 2018 on only visit (when Potter won by 3 from Phil, DJ, Day & Reavie). Woodland - 2019 US Open Champ, pity/shocking omission this week.
156-man field +156 Amateurs with egos and big pockets (8 former Champs) but with 25 Debutants…... Noren, Kitayama (Sponsor), Higgs, Schwartzel, Matty NeSmith, Varner, Hoag, Seiffer, Cappelent, Brandon Wu (great Sponsor invite, 35th in US Open here as amateur), Redman, Uihlein, Lahiri, McCumber, Kodaira, Baker, Ventura, Gligic, Scott Harrington, Ben Taylor, Gellerman, Whaley, Ledesma, Patrick Martin & Scott De Borba

YET another multi-course event on the WEST COAST with the usual 3-course-trick this week.
Pro's + 60 amateurs play Pebble on Sunday (and maybe Monday) if that WEATHER FORECAST is right.

There is a history of Aussies winning in bunches.....In 2016, four Aussie men won six tournaments in the space of six weeks, starting with Marcus Fraser’s victory at the Maybank Championship in Malaysia on February 21...a week later Adam Scott secured the first of back-to-back wins at The Honda Classic, Scott Hend won ET’s True or False Thailand Classic on March 13 and Jason Day then got in on the action, winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational and WGC-Dell Match Play in consecutive weeks. And it didn’t end there, Minjee Lee claiming her second LPGA Tour title at the Lotte Championship in Hawaii three weeks later.

WIRE-TO-WIRE... Nick Taylor wins by four strokes.....bent but did not break, survives an error-strewn stretch/whipping winds, and was flawless down the stretch to become the first Canadian to win the event.....a two-under-par 70 was enough to fend off Phil Mickelson, in the process becoming the event's first wire-to-wire winner since Mickelson 15 years ago.
