I'm after advice, please. I'm looking for tournament-specific performance stats for players. I am good for bigger, season-long data sets (PGATour.com seems good for these), but I need to know who was best in various performance categories for the week at individual events, let's say the 2014 Barclay, or the 2012 Masters. Can anyone advise? TIA

A couple of options that may help you out. Firstly (you might be aware of this one already) on the USPGA website you can go into a player's profile and scroll down to the performance category which is on the default of that particular player's PGA Tour season stat's for the year, you can select 'tournament' which will then give a breakdown of various stat's relating to tournaments played in the current season or, by changing the year in the drop-down menu, previous season's.
Second, a website I find useful for stat' purposes is futureoffantasy.com which gives some great info in relation to specific tournament stats'. |
