What are these organisers doing to attract these fields? Was really good last year and even better this year (I think, haven't fully checked). The other week-after-major tourneys severely struggle, and that's with RBC sponsorship and in the case of Harbour Town, a bloody good course as well. Whatever they are doing to get all the big guns to turn up, fair play to them.
Shame the market has no money in it to trade, everyone focusing their cash on that little sporting event in Russia I guess.
lol, tbf I genuinely was thinking he was going to get a good lead with that 7ft par save and then stiffing the next. So glad I hadn't given up too much on Reavie though. Seems odd to say Reavie would be my best win for a couple of seasons when I always normally lay him!

nope TB! I just checked on the back 9 meltdown for Sucher - good news for me, but tough going for him. Still, he can get a top 10 and we'll both be happy

A 9-shot swing in just 4 holes put Reavie on top of the leaderboard (from 6 behind to 3 in front)
WILL THE OPPOSITE HAPPEN SUNDAY ?

OWGR #1630 Matthew Wolff bogeyed his final three holes en route to a 4-over-par 35-39=74 in the third round and at 2-over 212, will not have a Sunday tee time. A total of 82 players made the 36-hole cut of 2-under 138 so a second cut of low 70 and ties took place after 54 holes and fell on 1-under 209. This was the 20-year-old's second career TOUR event after a T50 at the 2019 WM Phoenix Open, also on a sponsor exemption. Joining him on the bench for R4: 210- Matt Jones; Harris English; Nick Taylor; Jim Herman; Shawn Stefani; Troy Merritt; Cameron Tringale .. 211- Beau Hossler; Sung Kang .. 212- Tom Hoge .. 213- Alex Cejka.

OWGR #48 Chez Reavie LEADS BY SIX..... ....after a 35-28=63 (equaled back nine record) and matched the low round of the week with Jason Day/R2. It’s only his second 54-hole lead/co-lead - the first came way way back at the 2008 RBC Canadian Open where he won his maiden (and only) TOUR title. After opening with 65-66, the Kansas native began the day T2 and two back. Reavie plays with Bradley (Chez plays with Keegan....it’s a knockout......in games without frontiers) on Sunday.

We’ve seen recent examples of 54-hole six-shot leads being overturned. Marc Leishman was actually in a tie for 20th before surging through to win with a 62. Bubba fired a 63 to triumph last year while, famously, Kevin Streelman closed with seven straight birdies to win In 2014. And let's not forget Jim Furyk's record-breaking 58 here in 2016 although he was so far back that was only good enough to secure him a top five.
Six-shot leads rarely get overturned but if there's one place where it could just happen, TPC River Highlands would be near the top of the list.

The curse of always being on the lookout for a winner I suppose TB - been an average season so far for me, so every little helps- though probably not this time lol

Keegan was flirting with a push - but left the par 5 birdie chance short and then made a mess of the next. New track next week right? should be interesting to see how everyone adapts

terrible field next week, not much buy in for Detroit from the established players. Looking forward to the three weeks of good events in the UK and Ireland.

Tough time of year for any event especially if you're trying to establish a new one. They've done well to get even a couple of big names to be fair, and I guess Woodland will bring a bit of attention too.

I know it is easier said than done when you start with a huge lead, but Reavie said he was going to come in to this aggressively trying to shoot -5 or so. He has been far more cautious and has invited the charge sadly. Not much difference in my book, but I hope he holds on.

Chez did exactly this last Sunday too, to my annoyance. Landed himself on a number, made no putts and just didn't budge. Start of the day I'd have said -16 was enough maybe he took the same attitude.
