Every time we see Dufner he's got the same putt for birdie that everyone else is having for par.  Shame he hasn't holed many of them

I'll take it Jedi 3 birdies on the way in including 14, not a bad finish at all.

This scoring is infinitely preferable to Erin Hills last year, but a few of these holes could get properly iffy if the USGA aren't careful, and they do seem to always struggle to balance tough and fair.

using website WINDGURU for long island wind drops to 7/8 knots tommorrow with a slight advantage to the late starters......saturday blows all day similar to today but much stronger for the leaders.........sunday drops to 5/6 knots was 17/18 knots today gusting 20.........

Wishful thinking Busty can't believe we will see anything close to a 64 or 65 unless it pi$$es down and the wind drops completely ! If you offered the leaders 3 rounds of 70 they would bite your arm off !

Not sure about 64/65 but with the wind down a bit we should see a few more under par rounds today - I imagine the USGA will be happy to let the lead get a little further under par the next two days so they can set it up proper tough on Sunday.
