Getting busy on a Monday. Sergio @ 60s, Tiger at the same price, Ponce at 250 (I know he's rubbish but come on now), Day & Henrik. Need to take a chill pill.

Managed to get some 28/1 ew on Day for this after his good round on Friday. The 2016 Players champion seems like quite a streaky chap, with back to back PGA tour wins a couple of times in the past few years, so the signs are good. Also had a dabble on Cameron Smith. He's a Jacksonville local who plays Sawgrass as often as possible, so he must be feeling pretty confident about his chances after a decent season so far.

Well Done on the Day 'steal',fish in chips,...isn't it great to live long enough to see realistic pricing of a golf tournament, ie 15/1+ 'take your pick'...most players exhibit 'patchy' form at this place, hence the price...weather set to be constant..a little 'blowy' for some of the boys on the 17th Tee but nothing too serious ..should be great fun...I'm concentrating on a Top 40 play this week but here's my idea of value on the Exchange at the moment, I like Poulter but his price is 'skimpy'...You could make a good case for going with the young Kim guy but he has had a torrid few weeks throwing away that tournament to Kodaira..Kirk is good value..but anyway GLTA! and here's my two for a bit of fun.

Not a trader catchme? Forget the winner, having a ball trading the prices here. Just took Harman between 210 and 220. Given how many plodders have won here and the form he's been in for a long time now, tis a silly price.

Gone in deep on Kodaira, even in a stronger field 400 looks a really big price for a guy who won on another Pete Dye a month ago. Always a good event for chucking a few quid at outsiders as the big names don't always click, Kodaira my main dart and a few quid on Glover, Sabbatini and Michael Thompson, all going in with decent under the radar form.

Love Sawgrass. A real shot makers course as proven by past winners like Day, Garcia, Duval, Scott, Fowler, Kaymer, Sutton etc. FOWLER - 60th MC 1 MC MC 2 MC MC Alex Noren Henrik Stenson is one of just three golfers that fall inside the top 15 when it comes to course history, long-term performance, and recent form. Francesco Molinari - Four top 10s at TPC Sawgrass. His fairways-and-greens style of play is perfect for TPC Sawgrass. Hideki Matsuyama has top 25s in all four visits to TPC Sawgrass. Tommy Fleetwood is one of the world's best ball-strikers and he's getting familiar with American course setups. TPC Sawgrass should cater to his elite iron play. & Emiliano Grillo |
|
By:
Yes did consider Tommy but he marginally failed to make my cut
![]() If taking a shorter price than 66/1 @ Sawgrass I like proven course form. |

Most trips to the famous 17th at Sawgrass without a ball in the water... Ryan Palmer: 27, Jason Dufner: 25, Marc Leishman: 21. No such bother today for Will WILCOX - 'GET IN DA HOLE' (thankfully we didn't hear any idiots shouting) - just High Fives all-round for a shot he will never forget ! (and with a yellow ball too). Last hole-in-one there was Miguel Angel Jimenez in 2002. https://twitter.com/ChampionsTour/status/731211118379700224/ |

All 18 greens are going to be replanted with Tif Eagle Bermuda grass once this tournament is over. They’re currently Mini Verde Bermuda). It’s the same surface recent Dye creations Austin Country Club and Harbour Town featured for the first time, and Copperhead and Bay Hill debuted before that. Other improvements are planned but the other most relevant will be an updated par-4 12th hole, which will be drivable in 2017. Weather pending, the course will reopen for business in mid-November this year. Catch Me ifyoucan • May 10, 2016 12:35 AM BST WATCH OUT ! I have quite a few 'long plays' this week as the prices are really good. I can't help believing that this guy has the game to fit this place despite a 'triple' on the 17th and two missed cuts to his name ...there is a round of 69 in the middle of all that and he showed signs of coming out of his 'slump' at the Heritage..he is a streaky good golfer at his best and at the price,ie 1000 for a fiver...you have to play.IMHO ![]() |

Nice healthy green book to start, only cheering for Haas and Dufner who have large wins on.
For those who like playing faves, bookies best price on the top 4 here are 17, but at the same price you can have Sam Burns on the web.com. Usually play on BF only, but have deposited an account just to play it. |

Jordan Spieth
I rarely bet this guy and I rarely bet against him in match bets. If you get a chance look at his shot-tracker plays on his first three holes 10/11/12. A three put from seven feet, compounded by a visit to the water on the next...did he sulk, did he wimp out....no.... an eagle on the new Par 4..People are divided about this guy..and he is often accused of being lucky but in my book he is a golfing phenomena of our time...he always tries and he very often succeeds...If I had to do a match play for my life I would use Spieth...truly impressed by this youthful Nicklaus resolve. ![]() ps: He is back in the water on 13th ...and looking like a double...I say he finishes under par. |
