Inclement weather ...especially for the last groups finishing... anything could happen...maybe someone like Walker, Fleetwood or even Matsuyama might prosper...maybe even British Open guys like Spieth,Stenson or Oosthuizen....Mc Ilroy can play wind....did I miss anyone?

Interesting facts .....winner of round 1 has only won masters twice inlast 17 years -,and they second round scores were under par not PLUS 2 (Spieth ) The winner average first round -3 and again only two winners have won from first round over par ! ( DJ and JT)

All the talk about the expected bad weather today so trying to find a clue as to who might be better in the conditions.I remember the conditions at the Open last year were pretty bad on the Friday and whilst I appreciate Birkdale and Augusta are different tests there maybe something in the scores that gives an indication on who can cope in adversity. Those scores for the leading players were as follows;
Reed 75 Leishman 76 Stenson 73 McIlroy 68 Speith 69 DJ 72 Thomas 80 Finau 73 Fowler 71 Oosthuizen 74 Bubba 72 Hoffman 73 Thought the Thomas score was very surprising especially as he shot a first round 67 |

some interesting variables in the prices on those at -2
Finau 180 fowler 36 Oosthuizen 75 Rose 28 bubba 30 hoffman 140 |

As Rory has the lowest round in above to balance it up a bit, I remember Rory saying he would not change his game for one tournament a year, talking about his poor round in windy conditions at the Open one year.
Rory plays with quite a strong draw and if he does struggle in the wind it is with a Right to left wind, Mind you Reed hits the same shape as well. |

Should get a good idea how hard course is setup today by the early scores, if someone can come out the pack to through down a challenge, obviously not going by Mickelson score +4 after 2 holes

I like the look of Leishman to beat Reed in their 2 ball.Leishman obviously likes the course and I'm not convinced Reed is going to be able to back up yesterdays excellent round.

Just doing a 2 ball double Thomas and Rahm for an interest for tonight, hopefully Rory and Fat Boy don't make any blunders tonight. Hoping Rory starts ramping up the pressure.
